From what we understand right now, from all your dealings along with the others is that the consoles we are getting are HK ones. At least the boxes all have HK related information, and the warranty you get is regional as long as you don't buy it from someone that stole it from the PS4 transport truck. That is if you get the proper documentation for it as well. If you buy it from a local SONY STORE (I mean official one) you know you'll get a 1 to 1 exchange if something goes wrong in the early stages. God knows that the official SONY STORE is not infallible and many have had issues with them over warranties for cellphones, televisions, etc. If you buy your console from a store listed by Sony (whether it's in Singapore, Malaysia, etc) then you will enjoy the regional warranty. The local Sony service centers will make you wait for whatever issue you have, but rest assured that you will receive your warranty claim. If you buy is locally, they might be willing to help you out way sooner than that. I just bought mine locally because of the extended warranty, nothing else.
