Anyone else has a static noise coming from the ps4 when it's turned off after playing it? Mine has this noise when it's off (not standby) and it only goes off after I turn the switch off from the plug directly. When I turn it on, it's back

My guess is it could be wire grounding issue, I'll try to use a different socket or something. My PC punya psu had the same nose and it died in its 3rd year. Hope it's not psu haha.

From what I can understand from your description I assume this must be a loose power cord connection. Have you checked that you pushed the power cord firmly into the back of the console?

It may sound trivial, but I have had countless times not pushing these types of power cords properly into gadgets and getting that static/hiss sound.

Try and pulling the cord out of the console, and pushing it back firmly until you can't push it in anymore.

Hi, I need some feedback/opinion regarding to PS4 from you guys.
Should we buy ps4 now or have to wait till all the problems solved? Etc; BLOD, auto eject issues, hiss sound and so on. Since the next batch will be on mid/end Jan, will it be the same consoles with the previous models/batch? Kindly need some opinion.

If you can wait, a later version with hardware revisions maybe the best bet if you are not able to purchase the launch models. As of now, we can't tell when will those models come out since it just launched 2 months ago. Waiting could also mean that you'll have a wide library of games to choose from. As of now, it is very limited, I only play 2k14 and trying to sell off Killzone as I have finished it already. Majority of my playing time are still played on the PC. If you want to purchase now, buy from Sony retailers so you can sleep peacefully knowing that your console is covered by the warranty Next batch from Sony will be the same model but different manufacturing date fresh out of the oven

Whoa ... I didn't know we can now purchase PSN games through the webpage using a PC. Back in the days, it can only be done using the console itself. Just to be safe, I've added Resogun and Contrast to the list before they are removed from the PS Plus freebies ... while waiting for PS4 to stock up. Sigh ... and I'm supposed to give away my PS3 this month. Dunno if can get a PS4 in 3 weeks time ...
