i did the exact same thing with my so-called "SG" set from impulse... everything works out fine, got the 90-day extension, but the website was asia.playstation.com...
but, my so-called "SG" set is NOTHING like the official SG set posted by a forumer few post back, complete with regional warranty sticker and Ps+ membership..
heck, didnt even get an invoice from him..

having said that, my console is working fine and hope it remains fine for the next few years..

Has anyone used Netflix on the PS4 with any UnoDNS/ProxyDNS/tunnlr before? Somehow the netflix app keeps detecting that my region is not supported, however the Hulu Plus app lets me view. Very weird.

Yea, I'm wondering why game shops selling so-called SG sets does not come with those regional warranty sticker and all. My guess is probably the Singaporean suppliers got it directly from HK or somewhere else thus it does not have that sticker but still labelled as "SG set" because our Malaysian game shops got it from Singapore.

So far I think only sets that were supplied from the local Sony HQ comes with the sticker and all. hmm.gif

I used Netflix on PS4 using UnoDNS and enjoyed every moment.

The first thing is you need to register your PSN account using US account.

The second thing is you need to configure your PS4 DNS setting as suggested by these proxy server.

What are your usual cables? Branded ones?

I skipped using the provided HDMI cable altogether since I have a couple of spare HDMIs I stocked up from my previous purchase.

Been using these on all my devices for as long as I can remember. Works like charm on every device that requires a HDMI cable so far. Using one for my PS4 as well.

How much are the ones from Sony? Saw some Belkin ones going for around RM100 and Panasonic ones were about RM80.

I have used a US PSN account, and my DNS is configured correctly as I can already access Hulu Plus. Somehow Netflix still isn't working cry.gif

If it works for Hulu plus, then it should also work for Netflix. Let me try when I get back home. I only view them on my Apple TV, haven't tried them on PS4 yet.

I can't really remember for the ones I am using because I've got them for quite some time already but IIRC they are also about RM80 - RM100 more or less somewhere around there.

Anyone experience that the Ps4 volume is very low compare to Ps3? I am using dts bitstream in the audio setting. Ps4 connecting by using HDMI directly to amp.

maybe they didnt update their server settings and netflix changed something on their end, nullifying the DNS.

my service still works fine with netflix and hulu, but im not using unodns, using simpletv.co instead.

To those who pre-ordered online with Sony that time and opt for self-collection at the nearest GDEX branch, did they allow you to nominate someone else to collect on your behalf? If yes, do you need to prepare an authorization letter etc?
