Ok I fixed my phone T9 problem by doing a factory reset under Settings. Now to pinpoint which is the offending app that broke my T9.

The moment I got my phone in Sunway Pyramid, I went upstairs to one of the accessories shops at the IT Centre and got a RM30 silicone case. It feels sturdy and it's not slippery.

My uncle cracked his Z1 screen because he said he must have put it in his back pocket and sat on it. He used to sit on his iPhone that way without problems. I guess the Z1 screen is much longer and easier to flex.
Seems ok to me. The screen goes dark immediately when I put it near my ear to answer calls.

The screen comes back on immediately too.

No it doesn't come with screen/back protector. It's usually a good idea to have extra screen protection.
I don't use the sound enhancement settings, but I use Xposed Volume Boost mod.

I updated using Nut's method to preserve my root.

After trying it, mine doesnt even light up after i put it away from my face while talking :shocked:

i have no problem with the latest update. the screen turn back on right after i pull away from my face. for those having problem with the proximity sensor, had u guys check if the screen protector blocks it? I had an similar experience before where the screen protector affect the sensor sensitivity.

This shows that I should really change my case. It is not looking good enough and it is also covering my secondary noise cancelling mic. Damn it, it is too hard to look for the perfect case I want here in Malaysia. As the phone is too underrated unlike Samsung products. This is also why there are not many dealers selling cases or bumpers for this phone.

Something like that IMAK case is perfect, if it was made out of rubber silicone. Unfortunately according to the pictures provided in the thread, I don't think it is.

The Z1 was only announced in September last year. It is highly unlikely they will replace their flagship a mere 7 months after announcement.

Rumors have been going around of a D6503 Sirius being tested. That concides with the model number of the current Xperia ZL. Which also coincidentally was launched roughly this time last year. A Z2 would probably have a model number of D6903, assuming they stick to current naming convention.

So in all likelihood, it will be the Xperia Z1L that is launched during that MWC event. Which I'm guessing will be roughly a Z1 with no water + dust proofing and plastic body. Some say it will also have a smaller bezel and bigger screen. Who knows, eh?

ya the whole magnetic port side is not covered so you don't even have to change the bracket

Capacity only 3200mah, initial test from full batt (after 1st charge), can charge from 10% to 63% of Z1. At least can get 12 hours used (FB, tethering and chating).

I never use powercase before so this what I like/dislike:
Use the magnetic connector to charge
When connected to power, can also charge directly the phone 1st and after full, charge the powercase in dual mode.
Have kickstand for watching movie but the stand feel filmsy
Fit nicely, not loose but not cover all
Sure can protect back glasses
cheap, less than RM50 (not including shipping) - actually I get for free
Added thickness but still no issue for me, my Nokia N900 is thicker
Added extra 80g.
Cannot take pic with flash when use powercase, the flash light bounce back to lens.
Doesn't match my phone, only have white when I bought.

should be. since it doesnt reflash the whole firmware on the phone.
