Actually I quite like NCT5 although I bashed them as well. Before 50% worn, NCT5 perform quite well for avg driver. Grip quite ok in both wet and dry until the sipes hilang at 50%.

Been using NCT5 that come stock with City, Civic and now PE till worn out and change to other brand. Quite tahan lasak (being a hard compound tyre). So have many many years experience using NCT5.

Only after reaching 50% tread, the performance and grip turned DRASTICALLY downwards. That's when I bashed them hard.

That's why I say after 50%, tyre can throw away but b4 hitting 50%, (it takes quite a while to reach that level), its actually ok for avg driver. Perform way better than all those cheapo tyres (do note, its still listed as high performance tyres). Now I guna stock NCT5, 40%, still ok as long as I don't do hard cornering and high speed zig zag in wet.

Try first Michelin PP2 (tak da lagi), PS3 when 70%, V12 80%, then you tell me NCT5 noisy. Albeit all of the those tyres performed way better in wet and dry. Still they were all as noisy if not more.

Last time I asked from my usual tyre shop, CD2 are RM190 for stock 15" size. Cheapest I can find. Better than kedai kayu, I think.

Hmm driving an auto, the gear shift seems to come quite late. How to drive more efficiently ar? Sometimes stuck at 2.5-2.7k rpm for quite some time only it shifts...

My left rear door also hard to close when i got the car, power windows kaput 2 times on that door. Suspect because of closing the door too hard. After adjust the latch then no problem.

Yes, my front also easy to close.
When i adjust my rear left door latch, i need to choose either easy to close but have gap or no gap but hard to close. After many trial and error i choose between of them. If gap to wide scare rear passenger hear outside and wind noise.

Totally stock car and no fuel saver addictive or device and i drive alone

I haven't seen u so I cannot comment on ur size.
But I normally dun set it to outside air so as not to dirtied the cabin filter.

What i meant was.. the on-off-on-off was accompanied by air-no air-air-no air..
How i know its on, the light indicator in the middle of the fan control switches on and off
Normally the light will only switch on if the fan is on PLUS when u choose cooling (air cond) (i normally dont adjust that)
So when the on-off-on-off happens, the light is going on-off-on-off plus air-no air-air-no air too...

Its actually the knob loose or something. Thus when its near the off setting, the loosen internal knob or whatever dropped a bit down to the off setting thus when switch high, even drop a bit, it only heighten the temperature, you would not notice.

I just told my local small SC abt it. Although when testing, it does not appear (I do mentioned it happen TWICE or THREE times in a MONTHT, so normally just would not show), they admitted it is a very common problem with persona air-cond, most time test won't show as well. They just put in the warranty part order without further question.

So check what so called air-cond expert is that if they know its a problem that won't appear during testing but once in a while. I do emphasize then that my warranty is going to expire then and if problems re-occur after that, I will have to asked them to pay for it...if they don't change it under warranty. Make sure the service report LISTED the air-cond problem issue even if they don't repair. It can be used as a proof that SC did not do their job if re-occur after warranty.

Whatever it is, the entire knob sets has to change to solved it. Of course if the new set also kena the same problem later...its your luck lor...
