QUOTE(raimy_m9 @ Jan 21 2014, 02:16 PM) i think got, i didnt remember though, but if i;m not mistaken, they showed me two types of falken ziex-912.. indonesion made and thailand made, both got different thread, and different price. i also went to kedai papan klang when changing 912, they also told me falken got indonesian made and thailand made, and told me thailand is better. but i saw they carry alot of 322 and 522, which are from indonesia, so i think indonesian made are referring to 322 and 522. persona's 195/60/R15 should be referring to 322 as 522 don't have this size.

QUOTE(Cavino @ Jan 21 2014, 02:27 PM) Actually I quite like NCT5 although I bashed them as well. Before 50% worn, NCT5 perform quite well for avg driver. Grip quite ok in both wet and dry until the sipes hilang at 50%. Been using NCT5 that come stock with City, Civic and now PE till worn out and change to other brand. Quite tahan lasak (being a hard compound tyre). So have many many years experience using NCT5. Only after reaching 50% tread, the performance and grip turned DRASTICALLY downwards. That's when I bashed them hard. wah, NCT 5 super noisy leh. and gripping was bad (equivalent to no bunga feel when rain) after 50% worn out.

QUOTE(Cavino @ Jan 21 2014, 02:40 PM) That's why I say after 50%, tyre can throw away but b4 hitting 50%, (it takes quite a while to reach that level), its actually ok for avg driver. Perform way better than all those cheapo tyres (do note, its still listed as high performance tyres). Now I guna stock NCT5, 40%, still ok as long as I don't do hard cornering and high speed zig zag in wet. Try first Michelin PP2 (tak da lagi), PS3 when 70%, V12 80%, then you tell me NCT5 noisy. Albeit all of the those tyres performed way better in wet and dry. Still they were all as noisy if not more. i never have chance to try those branded performance tyre. my experience with NCT5 was on ford futura 4.0 at australia, it was quite some years ago. we often will hear the tyre screaming (non-grippy) when cornering at roundabout. inside the car cabin was filled with the tyre note when moving.

QUOTE(Cavino @ Jan 22 2014, 09:33 AM) Last time I asked from my usual tyre shop, CD2 are RM190 for stock 15" size. Cheapest I can find. Better than kedai kayu, I think. dat's cheap! if don't mind pm me the shop name and address. surveying my next tyre which might need it by this year end (rough estimation). tot of yoko advan db v551 to cut-down the tyre noise (always need to tune louder radio after 80kph), but saw autoworld forum someone posted rm290/pc, too expensive and out of budget liao.

QUOTE(gcooi90 @ Jan 27 2014, 10:24 PM) Hmm driving an auto, the gear shift seems to come quite late. How to drive more efficiently ar? Sometimes stuck at 2.5-2.7k rpm for quite some time only it shifts... i got the opposite, always upshift around 2-2.2k, then drop to 1.6-1.8k like that. mayb i press pedal too soft. weird but sometime i wanna try acceleration, it will always upshift at 4k rpm, nvr exceed that. i tot it will at least go to 5k rpm like that.

QUOTE(Effy92 @ Jan 28 2014, 11:42 AM) My left rear door also hard to close when i got the car, power windows kaput 2 times on that door. Suspect because of closing the door too hard. After adjust the latch then no problem. all my door super easy to close, especially front left, some more i need to pull/resists it from falling close hard, that is the best 1 after so many cars i have sit. but left rear after close will have gap, from behind it looks like not closing properly, but in fact it was closed. everyone sit my car sure tell me your door not closing properly. since it was also easy to close, i just ignore it...

QUOTE(Effy92 @ Jan 28 2014, 12:28 PM) Yes, my front also easy to close. When i adjust my rear left door latch, i need to choose either easy to close but have gap or no gap but hard to close. After many trial and error i choose between of them. If gap to wide scare rear passenger hear outside and wind noise. sad, why rear left cannot make it easy to close and tight like front left? but my rear right ok also wor...

no aircon and no open window just using blower and set the air circulation from outside for cool breeze
Petrol used BHP 95 70% Petron 95 30%
Tyre pressure Front 220kpa Rear 190kpa
Method use for refuel -when refuel petrol, fill petrol until click then wait, then refill again till click, then lift the nozzle a bit and slowly refill until so many click until can see the petrol at the hole.
FC calculation 5l/100km 20.1km/l 10-11cent/km
RPM reading persona manual 2.5k RPM when at 90kmph 2k RPM when at 70kmph
Totally stock car and no fuel saver addictive or device and i drive alone @Fubar20 So, 700km per tank at highway is possible for persona salute salute no air-cond, window not open, driving 90kph at HAIway, you must be having good patience. or you betting some angpao with someone for the FC? give you honda jazz hybrid i think 30km/litre is achievable.

QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Jan 31 2014, 04:20 PM) I haven't seen u so I cannot comment on ur size. But I normally dun set it to outside air so as not to dirtied the cabin filter. hahaha, not to mention frequent change of air-circulation mode and cooling temp will make the air-cond control module sakit gila. last time i always did that, causing sometime my compressor on-off-on-off in sudden, then i adjust until ngam2 now not dare to touch it. but i still always change the fan speed, now the air-cond fan speed also gila2, sometime fan slowing down then cut-off automatically.

QUOTE(Vort3X @ Feb 5 2014, 12:29 PM) Uhh.. maybe i'll rephrase.. What i meant was.. the on-off-on-off was accompanied by air-no air-air-no air.. How i know its on, the light indicator in the middle of the fan control switches on and off Normally the light will only switch on if the fan is on PLUS when u choose cooling (air cond) (i normally dont adjust that) So when the on-off-on-off happens, the light is going on-off-on-off plus air-no air-air-no air too... Yours is OFF but it automatically ON for you, this is SMART feature. Mine is ON to 1/4 fan speed, then sometime it will automatically OFF-ON-OFF for me, until I adjust to more higher fan speed, this is FAILURE liao...

QUOTE(Cavino @ Feb 7 2014, 08:47 AM) Its actually the knob loose or something. Thus when its near the off setting, the loosen internal knob or whatever dropped a bit down to the off setting thus when switch high, even drop a bit, it only heighten the temperature, you would not notice. I just told my local small SC abt it. Although when testing, it does not appear (I do mentioned it happen TWICE or THREE times in a MONTHT, so normally just would not show), they admitted it is a very common problem with persona air-cond, most time test won't show as well. They just put in the warranty part order without further question. So check what so called air-cond expert is that if they know its a problem that won't appear during testing but once in a while. I do emphasize then that my warranty is going to expire then and if problems re-occur after that, I will have to asked them to pay for it...if they don't change it under warranty. Make sure the service report LISTED the air-cond problem issue even if they don't repair. It can be used as a proof that SC did not do their job if re-occur after warranty. Whatever it is, the entire knob sets has to change to solved it. Of course if the new set also kena the same problem later...its your luck lor... Weird but I notice it happen mostly after some period of driving, let's say after 1 hour of continuous driving with air-cond. I assume the internal resistance issue related after the module was heated after some time? Yes, I do noticed by turning to higher fan speed, it won't OFF, but fan speed does reduced intermittently as what you mentioned.
