Yup.just rinse properly after using.tighten the drag(lock dead) and rinse for 1-2mins,then hold the reel try swinging out all the waters last step loosen the drag(free drag) let dry itself.thats what i did after fishing after fishing in salt water ponds.

woa, rinse it ? seriously? hmm.gif wouldn't water mess up the greased gear teeth though?
I was initially thinking of getting an alphas type r, changing the gear ratio to 6:8:1, soup it up with upgrades and stuf

If possible take out the line or part of it and soak it in water for few 15min to clear the salt in the line.

Hmmm mm..so far so good,i supposed.lol after doing countless times to my antares which is not a saltwater friendly reel.that blerdy machine still running smooth.

No le,it says freshwater use only on the mini box.

Unlike the brenious it has the saltwater use tag.

Antares is bout rm1.3k -1.5k
brenious just launch,unsure bout the price.
No blacklash problems for me using 20lb braided line casting 7grams lure & above.
