Well you pay per kg, so depends on how much you are willing to pay. Its only fun if you fish siakap with barbless blunt hook, else you pay through your nose.

Its fun for awhile, then it gets boring. Dont bother with anything stronger than a 2-6lb rod 

CnR pond rarely get bites. The water is not free flowing unlike jurassic so fishes not as active.

As light as possible

Let the fishes run and jump(lift the rod higher) for them to throw the hook if you plan to stay there long.

Last year it was still RM17, not sure about now. And do ask them to clean and gut the fishes for you. Save you alot of hassle. Only rm1 per fish.

And leave before the sun vanishes, the mosquitoes there are crazy.

Haha, its gonna be extremely hot. 

This one is pretty much up to your luck. If you get the new stock fishes then its quite clean tasting but if you get the "veteran" fishes there then you will have some smell because its basically muddy stagnant water.

You dont need to buy any live baits. The fishes there will eat almost anything, but sometimes it will get quiet for awhile before they start to bite again.

any longer you will burn a hole in your wallet 

Haha, told you its very hot. I usually go in the evening. You should try grouper once. One fish 3kg + terus RM100+ 

Its very fun for beginner to get started with fishing. Cause bite rate very good

I'm using duel x4. Very thin diameter braid but doesn't handles nicks very well. Doesn't fuzz.

entrance fee RM 30 no longer RM 20.

anything past 11pm, oni got pokok sawit and some ayam berkokok to teman u. nobody at all. got more pacu here than patin or whatever. whole night only up pacu.
5 of us went, 5 diff baits used. 5 diff fishing spot, all 5 of us only catch small pacu. biggest is 1kg. i only caught bout 400-500gm pacu.

baits used

1 - taufu
2 - dedak 920 + soya
3 - roti + soya + strawberi
4 - etepung + jagung + pandan
5 - taufu + pellet

all 5 also yield same result. all mini sized pacu. wtf summore wan up price.

anyone been to big boss kundang lately ? got any nice tips to share ?

the timing i guess. coz when reach sure up 1 or 2 baung within first hour. sure very sien after that. red tail no fight 1. all also first few tugs syiok then after that no more power.

so last remaining 2-3 hour sure go behind big water machine there and aim monster mekong or at least the aligator gar.

u use artificial bait got try change color ? this one the indon worker tell me 1. every season the monster mekong and the turtle there attracted to diff color each season. i  go jigging there and only managed to bring up red tail even if i camp behind big water pam there. he say color not ngam but i already no more color to use wei.
this my sotong gear. very faithful to me.

all color here i can tell u, is not suitable to up the monster mekong or the old waterfish in exotic. i dunno what shit color they want, i tried all before. so i prefer just stick to dedak, got higher chance. the gar will bite my little pink 18gsm. other than that, i try again the gar dowan to hue me.

so it concludes, the monster mekong very picky go to school already graduate, and the gar i dunno mebbe missing or dead i not sure. but already 1 year + i didnt see ah gar liao.
