QUOTE(HarryzSandhu @ Oct 7 2014, 10:22 AM) Ahhh long time no go CWS,.. you should head there early and start fishing by dawn. Limited land base spots. Along the CLub house lake is a good spot if the Monitor lizards and otters didnt come out to bother you. But best to take the boat out on the wetlands or west lake... plenty PBs there. Life jacket provided by Yusop for Air ganda fishing. |

Gekkabijin is legendary man. but meant more for rock fishing.
Fresh water I would suggest the Aegis 1003RH or Ignis Type R Exist is way beyond our budget... so some settle for Luvias. |

QUOTE(Proclaimer @ Mar 23 2015, 03:43 PM) ci4 discontinued thats why cannot find new price anymore. I second this. Ci4+ replaces it. For bottom fishing i would suggest FJ cause body stronger and doesnt flex as much under pressure. Ci4+ got report of flexing, loud grinding and vibration when reeling. Choice is up to you, if do bottom fishing berat sikit takpe Recently experienced Conquest DC side plat flexing when cranking deep divers on my trip last week. Even its full aluminium bodied. could feel the side plate flexing out. |

Air ganda trip last Wednesday & Thursday.
Left 2am Wed morning and arrived just in time for dawn action. Stayed a night in town and drove back right after Thursday session bout 10pm. Arrived KL 2am safe and happy. Over all both of us landed more than 20, nothing significantly big. Quantity over quality, however, even those bujang rempits are small below 2KG,.. hooks were straighten, rods we bent below deck. Massive powerful tomans on steroids. Only 2 batch of fry spotted, most of the fishes are now in mating season as we caught and saw couples courting together. Plenty misses and got away. Lure of the day was DUO Realis jerkbait 100, landed more than 10 on just 1 same lure. Rapala DT, Realis Crank 65, Risto 7 we all put into good use as well. Heddon for top water. Didnt take other top water like buzz, realis 110, jump frog. Water was extremely clear, best to use natural feeder fish colour (silver and shinny) Techniques,.. cast over rise, extremely fast retrieve with jerks. Those interested to go next time,.. there always Usop and Anip who are the local boatman come guide. Will be heading back in next 3 months again. QUOTE(vioxmonsta @ Apr 13 2015, 07:27 PM) Why not? Lure fishing will hurt the angler's wallet more than the fishes he catches. Gentle reminder, remember to check your rod ratings, too heavy lure might break the tip of your rod or u might not get the expected distance when the your lures are too light. The line in your reel plays a very important role also Lower poundage makes your cast further coz its lighter same goes its opposite for the heavier poundage lines. Also know the fish that your're targeting.diff lure brings out diff actions coz diff fish also takes diff action of lures.from there you'll get a better advantage Theres no 100% catching fish lures, Its all 70% luck 30% hardwork. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA Lures attracts human more than fishes. Dont you all agree? |

QUOTE(Guenhwyvar @ Apr 19 2015, 03:30 PM) Depends on what fish and how deep your sea fishing trip. Also ho big and heavy is this prawn bait? Should be OK for rock fishing with small mackerels or kembong. deep sea has fast moving current, usually need heavy jigs and weights. |
