NVM buy already.....

its not what I expect it to be......that daiwa lexa.....100hl
its rather hard to control its casting......beside the distance.......well I expect it to be able to cast further than that

Whats the estimated distance you're getting?using bait or lure?if lure how heavy issit?
*
i tried it out in an empty car park. and i compare the casting distance with my banax GMC.
funny thing is my banax can further compare to daiwa lexa.

FYI i'm testing my casting distance using a no 5 sinker. that weight 18g a pieces.
eee using 0.33mm monoline.

Monoline (assuming your using 10-15lb line from od you're saying) its still heavier compare to braided lines
Mayb the spool control knob settings too tight.
*
I can't afford good braided lines.

dude how effective r zerek live shrimp....I got two of them. but never once manage to catch crap.

Cannot help you bro. Big fish I think you have to get on a boat unless you can surf cast very very far
*

Don't actually do surf cast. You need a proper setup with 12ft or longer rods. Nah was never into that.
*
neither do I.
but to swing that amount of distance, one do need a bigger stick.....
anyway.....I done a little research of my own....

using a centrifugal braking system reel and a 9ft rod.
I found out that by turning of the braking system I can actually cast at least 30% of the fishing line I had in my reel. that's very far......
but there's a problem.....its ridiculously hard to control...

majorities of the outcome are horrible backlash......don't understand though....

You don't use a baitcaster for surfcasting. That's like using petrol for your diesel car.

Use a proper surfcasting reel like below.

Unless you love bihun, then use a baitcaster.

yeah about that.....
i have tried.....using a surf reel on a 9ft rod and a bait caster on a 9 feet rod.
i'm not saying you r wrong. but i personally prefer mounting a baitcaster like this user posted image here on my surf rod.

its easier to swing and it can cast further than a surf spinning reel ( from my experiment ).
look man unless you turn the braking system all the way down. you won't get any back lash....trust me....I've used it dozen of time

hey I recently discovered that......
for my daiwa lexa 100HL.....weight of the sinker doesn't really make much different and I also find out that I am now able to cast lighter sinker. I used to use at least 15- 18g sinker on my 6ft rod. now I can go as low as 6-8g......and still cast over 30 meters

*
a standard parking space dimension is 2.5m wide and 4.8m meter long.

yes yes yes I test out my casting range at a freaking car park, now shut up!!

now the car park look something like this
user posted image

next up
I can hit al least 13 of this.
2.5 m times 13 would get you 32 meters. unless my math suck

clear or not my explanation?
