wut do you guys think about the daiwa zillion type r? I had the opportunity to play around with the reel last week and was pretty much impressed with the thing...
there was also the zillion PE special but comes with a shallow spool, how does the two fare against e/o? |

The PE special have adopted faster level wind to lay the PE line in such a way as to prevent the line digging into the spool. The rest are just cosmetic change.there was also the zillion PE special but comes with a shallow spool, how does the two fare against e/o? |

QUOTE(inv @ Dec 25 2013, 08:59 PM) D.A.M, Imperial fluorocarbon...cost me RM60++ for 20meters..broke at the middle, not snap/swivel lol..there was this incident, i hooked up a 2-3kg patin, and when the fish is right in front of me, it did a last dive and the line just broke, its a 40lb line i was using, and there was no structures or tree branches between the fish and the line (as it was so close i could still see the fish), and the line was still new when i got that fish. i would say it failed me on 3-4 occasions out of the total of 20meters, so that's kinda dissapointing i guess, even tomman line i used last time was better lol |
