Man the camera quality and sound really turn me off and now I wanna switch back to Stock Rom  cry.gif  If I download the Stock Rom and Flash it back, will everything go back to normal as it should be? Am I able to get back all the Samsung apps that was included in the Stock ROM? Thanks.
*
The camera quality is the same.
Samsung rom have some sharpening for its screen.
Making text and everything looks sharper, at the cost of losing some vibrancy.

Kitkat Roms also start to introduce this sharpness fix in samsung Roms.
The actual image is of the same quality.

Snap a pic using your cam, send to another s3 on stock rom and view it on gallery.
You'll get what I mean when you compare. The color shift abit, and the picture looks sharper in touch wiz gallery.

IMO gear 2 is an overly fancy wearable tech, most things are just something you will not use on a daily basis

It can integrate with tasker.

You can do amazing amazing things with it.
Look in YouTube for Armando fierra videos.
I learn how to use tasker from him.

Tasker can really change your phone.
Too bad it's a paid app so many Malaysians won't get it.
I hesitate to get it at first, but after watching all his videos, couldn't resist.

Imagine holding up your pebble watch, press a button, speak your command,
And it sends to instruction to your phone and perform the action while it's in the pocket.
Cool....

i dare not use ahem version for root apps, especially one so powerful like tasker.
root apps have lots of permissions. dangerous if the ahem version have malware.

proud to say my hp now 0 ahem version apps. rclxms.gif

I have no problem with twrp and love it. If you use to cwm better stick on it.

If you really want to try twrp here is the steps:-

1. Goto Twrp website
2. Top right Click on Get Twrp for your device" and choose your model
3. go down to download odin and flash using odin.
*
Alright. When using odin, where to put that twrp file? Pit, bootloader, pda, csc or phone? Thanks!

i dont buy too many apps. some i buy i really regret. some are very useful

+ good
tasker (bring the android experience to a whole new level via automation and bulk action)
swiftkey (the best keyboard ever of all time, i did tried many alternative and this wins)
titanium backup key (essential for rom flashing)
snap camera (great camera with loads of features)
nova launcher pro (favourite launcher, pro version unlocks all features)
rom toolbox pro (easy nandroid backup)

- regret
camera JB+ (obsolete compared to aosp cam)
widget locker (lockscreen widget not really useful, even after 4.2, i never use them)
HDR cam+ (totally useless app, snap camera have better HDR)
swype keyboard (pales in comparison to swiftkey)
set cpu (i dont underclock anymore)
apex launcher (prefer nova launcher)
friendcaster pro (default FB app is good now, no need 3rd party app)

i havent seen it, but based on the 1st gear, i can say these things I will not use for definite
1. the gear cam, urgh
2. s-voice, i dont even use on phone, frozen
3. gear call, makes me look like an idiot talking to my wrist
4. color screen, to me is fancy for it's purpose, and shortens battery life span

things i WILL use, notification alerts, and clock face, might be that's all, that's why the pebble is handy, simplistic and straight forward

swype looks promising at first, very nice button placement. lost of predictions appear.
but then i realize it doesnt predict next word very smart. many times it predict nonsense and unrelated words.
end up making more mistake.

swiftkey predict 3 words only, but many times those are the words i want to type next.

example i wana type "wan tan mee", after i type "wan", it predicts the next 2 word as the first option, knowing i always use this word. swiftkey also memorize buildings, location that i always type. another example, it predicts "canai" after "roti", and "lemak" after i type "nasi", it can also do "pasar" "malam", which is really good.

swype just doens't do that for me. i already used it for 1 week, should be enough time for it to learn my habbits.
it only predict normal english grammer, but not custom terms.

another thing i notice is swype might be using more battery.
swiftkey never appear in my battery usage. but swype appear to use as much as whatsapp in my battery usage.

swype no google voice shortcut, it uses dragon something for voice, which sucks.

the only downside of swiftkey is no chinese language. i need to switch to googel pinyin ime for chinese input. but thats not too troublesome for me since i rarely type chinese. swype can directly switch to chinese which is very convenient.

for number 3, actually i think its really cool to speak to your watch.
when phone ring, instead of reaching pocket bring out phone to answer, just swipe the watch and start talking. stylish!

If you are those who can type really fast using pc keyboard, you'll enjoy swiftkey godness.
The keyboard pattern prediction is awesome.
