Yeah, I mostly only frequent that place and the Sony Centre in Ikano. But that Sony Centre has disappointed me time and time again, so I thought I'd go to Sony Store@Curve instead but they're all the same.

Even in the US, there's been a lot of issues from consoles that have been shipped from retailers, etc. Sony has also stated that it's the shipping that might be the cause.

Of course, we will never know for real. Could be problematic straight from the factory, or during the ride to the retailers, or when it's shipped and in transit.

The delay and lack of action right now with the Sony Service Centers in both Malaysia and Singapore is due to insufficient/inaccurate information from Sony Global in regards to the SEA regional warranty procedure and warranty claims.

And there isn't a reason to expect a high chance of failure for the PS4 as there are things as QA running for production. What are you basing that on?
Sure, some issues here and there as expected but nothing catastrophic.

You don't have to go around saying the people here didn't make a bright move, or didn't make a smart decision in regards to the PS4 purchase.

In the case of playing for hours, I've had 8-12 hour sessions non stop and I leave the PS4 on the whole night even with the game running and there seems to be no issues.

Wah, SSD. Pretty expensive. I'm running one of those SSHD ones for the PS4. The console is relatively cool.
