Which store it is? I think we've been too nice to them, unlike US / europe region, consumer will speak it up and like whole community is aware and will make noise.

QUOTE(villaria @ Jan 8 2014, 11:25 AM) Even in the US, there's been a lot of issues from consoles that have been shipped from retailers, etc. Sony has also stated that it's the shipping that might be the cause.Of course, we will never know for real. Could be problematic straight from the factory, or during the ride to the retailers, or when it's shipped and in transit. |

QUOTE(jamilselamat @ Jan 8 2014, 01:05 PM) Read my original post again. You people should already know what kind of country Malaysia is. Its level of customer service in general. Its level of consumer rights awareness. So avoid buying anything just because of Malaysia's consumer rights? Not a bright move to buy a first batch PS4, what are you calling the millions that did? The delay and lack of action right now with the Sony Service Centers in both Malaysia and Singapore is due to insufficient/inaccurate information from Sony Global in regards to the SEA regional warranty procedure and warranty claims. I know all about regional warranties PS4s in ASEAN are supposed to come up with, but is the risk worth the reward? Look at the comments in here yourselves. I'm not saying everyone should stay apathetical. Our current state of consumer awareness does need improvement, and Sony Malaysia should step their game up. That doesn't mean it's a bright move to pull such risky move as buying a first-batch PS4. The sellers should improve their goods and services, yes. At the same time, we need to make smart decisions too so that they(the sellers) won't halfass their goods and services because if we don't, they won't improve. I mean, what's the point when people are gonna lap up and buy that shit anyway? And there isn't a reason to expect a high chance of failure for the PS4 as there are things as QA running for production. What are you basing that on? Sure, some issues here and there as expected but nothing catastrophic. You don't have to go around saying the people here didn't make a bright move, or didn't make a smart decision in regards to the PS4 purchase. |

In the case of playing for hours, I've had 8-12 hour sessions non stop and I leave the PS4 on the whole night even with the game running and there seems to be no issues. |

QUOTE(pkh @ Jan 17 2014, 09:42 PM) Also noticed that PS4 is not very hot. After playing for 2 hours, the back vents are MUCH cooler than the PS3. And I'm using SSD on PS3 summor (which should reduce heat by a huge margin). Wah, SSD. Pretty expensive. I'm running one of those SSHD ones for the PS4. The console is relatively cool. |
