I bought Medklinn Asens +60 and one for the car too, Medklinn autoplus.  When I sent them for servicing after using them for a year, I'm charged a minimum of RM150 for asens and RM105 for autoplus just for basic servicing.  You better ask the sales person how much the company will charge you for servicing before you fork out money to buy any air purifier.  I wished I hadn't bought them.  Servicing them alone cost RM255 each year which is nearly 20% of their purchase price vmad.gif

Medklinn Asens need to send for servicing meh? I thought just need to buy cartridge to replace once a year, which cost about rm150. Other 2 to 3k air purifier like cuckoo need around RM500 per year to service (after the 1st year free service). I just bought a medklinn Asens +40 last week but too bad it only worked for 3 days, now going to send for warranty cry.gif

I'm thinking to rent coway lombok II http://www.coway.com.my/products/air-purifier/lombok2

RM110 per month
any cons?

Depends on the size of the space you're using it for.

I'm using in my bedroom around 300sqft, not really that efficient, room is still dusty. sad.gif

Is the first generation better than the second?

If yes, I may go for it.

Xiaomi Air Purifier bought from 11street.
Works for me. Value for money.
I think all air purifier honeywell, philips, sharp, amway, coway works the same way, just that how fast it cleans the air and the extra features they throw in (ionizer, humidy control, etc)

Yes. Why not? Is nothing to do with air conditioning or not.

I have the xiaomi air purifier. You can buy the replacement air filter online as well. That's what I did after 1.5 years of using it.
