Last nite play in singapore n japan server..but got problem with server missing during playing...

well I used to run a crusade in Maxis forums to get google pings down to 10 ms on peak hours

they have maintained that so far but the peering to gaming servers just fall apart during those hours

there's no ammo left for me to shoot them cause these so called customer service representatives won't understand what latency and game servers even mean...

Thanks for your help. Basically everything was running fine previously until the past 1 week where latency jumps up to 100ms. Unifi users are still doing 10ms-20ms so it must be Maxis but just want to confirm before I call them again to complain. I can't remember how many times I encounter all these petty issues ever since I use maxis.

yeap, I have used ADSL 2+ for a couple of years and never had any of this bullshit.

pretty sad that I can't say fiber optic is more reliable than a copper line (but we all know Maxis is doing it wrong )

Thanks. Are you getting a higher latency for the past 1 week to SG servers? Previously I am getting 15ms and now it's 105ms.

my streamyx 4mb still getting 20ms to SG servers.
but to japan / hk / china...it can spike from 50ms to 200ms.

i play on wifi.. sometimes ping spikes to 999 and directly kicked by admin

you have nice pings. what modem u running on?

mine 4mbps also but getting average of 50 on sg servers. currently using stock innacom tm wifi modem.

i also using the stock innacomm w3400v.

ayam jelly your ping. last time when i was running on my own dlink modem on 1mbps before upgrade i managed to fetch around 16ping. after upgrading get 50

makes u wonder wtf is going on.

I have this issue with German server. my ping is around 4++ms and being kicked out twice already. I am using unifi.

well. that is inevitable. anywhere outside asia u'll get very high ping. japan/australia still ok since considered asia.

I felt you bro.. In my case, my ping suddenly spike because my family watching Youtube.. Cant said much..
