There's 2 type for this brand,
one is curved where it fits all cases.
Whereas another type, is like ordinary sp where its abit squarish. This type won't fits certain case.

put inside the pocket of my jeans also can scrap off the oleophobic? What  doh.gif
Maybe next need to buy armorz already  thumbup.gif
*
yes... few things that can rub off your oleophobic coating, mainly chemical, sand, constant rubbing on it. And frankly, even Armorz, long term doing this will also deplete the coating. I tried using lemon flavoured chemical (dunno the substance) rub on the screen... oleophobic affected... later i use plain water to clean it and the coating is back.. hehe... i think the chemical cover up the coating layer...

U want scratch proof? use sapphire.. hehe..

jus change to glass m about 2 weeks ago on my 5s

no chips or nothing

got few hairline scratches but no chips like u said

hmm.gif  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

i think probably QC issue.. most china factory do OEM will have at least 1000pcs and above made at one time. So it can be one of the low quality one.. like your own, 2 weeks usage already got hairline scratches. previously u said use long also still good.. hmm.gif

btw, no brand is perfect. even the likes of Armorz, feedback we got on Extreme R got adhesive issue, thats y we do not sell it as we wanted to avoid complaints from customers. But, if you ask around, Extreme R is in fact Armorz hottest product comparing to Extreme Lite that we brought in. I think thats y Extreme Lite has lesser issue since the demand is smaller than R. At least they no need to worry about the output capacity.

Well, the picture shows it. A bit disappointed, maybe due to the 0.15mm thickness the glass isn't tough enough perhaps?
So far my Armorz Extreme Lite is satisfying  thumbup.gif no scratches yet, or maybe because I take good care of it  sweat.gif

Actually any SP thickness less than 0.2mm are easily damaged compared to the thicker glass sp. This is a common knowledge which the thicker, it will be harder. And most of the thinner glass sp are less than 9H but due to marketing advantage, putting a 7-8H will lose it ground to the 9H, thus most chinese manufacturer will still claim it as 9H. Some even put as explosion proof or guaranteed scratch proof, but will they give u warranty on it? i think you know better than us.

Personally, i have been using armorz since day 1 our company bought it in and it has been more than 2 months. Still scratch free and chipped free, like a brand new installed unit. I do not use any casing since then, cos wanted to see how long it can last. But still, I think i will go for a thicker glass sp for the next one.. probably in between 0.3mm or 0.4mm. With the rounded corner, it should not disturb the touch ID although will still feel the difference,

but if the benefit outweigh the risk of breaking it, i go for the thicker one.. most important is the quality ..

Agree with your statement but customers also have to agree that purchasing above 0.2MM would also lead to a higher chance of some casing thats not gonna fit.

The bumpers that I sell isn't compatible with glass above 0.2MM, or else it will lift up the screen and cause dust coming in. Same as TPU, sometimes, too thick also very hard to fit right in.

Hardshell casing wouldn't be a problem but all got disadvantages also, u drop the case crack.

But like I said, I am just a seller, I don't really know what they really doing in the QC area. Just helping to supply smile.gif

Some glass might be perfect but some might not, from the aesthetic look, it sure looks nothing wrong, but nobody would know the inside of it.
*
dont worry.. not blaming u la.. but like you said, most of us here are seller, not the brand owner. So can't blame us on the QC. What we can do is to ensure the item we sell is high quality, and not those cheapskate products. Thats why we do testing on the item before selling. Not randomly go and approach any distributor and ask for reselling rights due to profit. We even have some distributor offering us huge margin to sell, but we rather not cos the brand are not up to our expectation. You dont see us selling low quality product nowadays even though we still have some old oem stocks in our e-store.

As for the casing, i do understand some might have issues with sp especially bumper. Reason because these bumpers are not made with the use of sp in the first place. And thats why some SP are cut as case optimised. it's cater for these type of casing. But again, if you use a tight bumper, you might not able to use a SP for the back of the phone too.. again, u will need a case optimised sp for it.

Not blaming the seller here, but I think the 0.15mm is designed that way. When it was brand new as I installed, there's no "sign" of defect when I shine under LED torch, no cracks at all but still after less than 1 month usage for my case it chipped sad.gif Sooner or later more will report similarly IMO.
*
Next time go for the thicker one. 0.2mm or above. For for safer, go for 0.3mm although so far, not many good brands have it.

last thursday i bought glass screen protector for my iPhone 4 .. they told me its more better then film screen protector
*
yes.. glass sp is better than film as it offers more protection on impact and higher resistance to scratches too. A normal PET Film is 3H while an average Glass SP is 8-9H. However, depending on the brand of glass sp, some might over claim the benefits in order to sell more. So it's up to consumer to be careful when choosing one.

on the box they claimed explosion proof , lol ... china brand glass screen protector
*
if I'm the one buying... i will ask them got demo or not.. hehe... if not ask if they can do one. If really explosion proof then only i pay. if not, then sorry lo..

This should teach them not to over claim their product..

i once ask a seller on a glass sp, the box claim guaranteed wont scratched within 3 years. I said if scratched then can claim a new one is it? since the box said "GUARANTEED". Guessed what the seller said, "ya.. its guaranteed wont scratch in 3 years but there is no warranty against it." i was like.... sweat.gif in that case, dont claim la.. he told me manufacturer put one, not them..

(i wonder why those seller willing to be bluff by the manufacturer? profit? we got a lot of such offers but we rejected them immediately. We normally will tell them, if they can prove to us on what they claim on the box, then we are willing to sell their products. But again, we received no reply from them ever again)

rm40 for glass screen protector ... is it expensive bro ?
*
One thing i learn about handphone accessories, its not the price that matter, it's the quality. You can get a china made for as cheap as RM18 (saw from lelong) or up to RM150+ for a premium US brand. Both look the same for most of use during the first week. But once you use on a longer period, you will start to see the difference between the quality.

So if you ask me is RM40 expensive? I can't really answer it. For me, if I'm going to go for a budget, i will search for the cheapest sp in the market. But if I intend to get one which is good in quality, then i will expect to pay more. Again, brand doesnt matter too. Cos we know some brand are heavily advertised but quality so so only. I would rather pay for those which emphasise on the quality rather than advertisement.
