45 minutes in three times a week?
or
30 minutes everyday.

Some say 45 minutes is to lose weight (actually 30-45).
30 minutes for maintaining weight.

I've been doing 30...so I think I need to change it.

What do experts here say?

With all do respect to bodybuilders, I think bodybuilders routine is NOT suitable
for non-bodybuilders such as people who want to lose or wants fitness.

The eating habit is different.
Fitness has to diet and eat less....bodybuilders vice versa.

When I mention fitness...the biggest different between a bodybuilder and
a non-bodybuilder is the DIET.
What they eat.
Bodybuilder eat more than a non-bodybuilder kan?

Let say a person wanted to start going to the gym.

WITHOUT..I repeat..WITHOUT eating more such as supplements etc.
Not to become a bodybuilder but just want to lose weight since
you guys mentioned that muscle burns fat faster.

What are the routines?
Repetitions etc?

This is what I want to hear.

I heard about protein too.
To lose weight...exercise...eat less but more protein (correct me if I'm wrong)

I'm not obese...171cm...71kg..still BMI is normal.
BUt I want to be 63kg...have slim belly....high cheek bones and luckily 6 packs.

This is crucial:

The problem is.
When at night..hungry right after eating dinner at 6pm (little rice and
some dishes, less oil and fat. I even wash the fried chicken/fish to get rid of
the oil)
What to eat when you are hungry?
The stomach makes 'sound' when too empty.


If this problem solved...then lose weight is possible.
That's why Herbalife is usefull for some.
Too expensive la for me.
Besides, maybe you guys can give tips.

It's a very good thing we have bodybuilders here..they can share their experiences.
I always wonder how bodybuilders do their workout.
Most of people a bit 'kedekut' a.k.a stingy..don't want to share tips.

Here, we are LACK losing weight or fitness (non-bodybuilders) expert or
a person who achieved his goal.

Maybe it's about time for me to go to the gym.
Not trying to be a bodybuilder but toning those muscles.
Since you guys mentions muscles can get rid of fat more effectively.
How about the fat aroung belly and oblique?
Uncrunchable?
I heard only exercise can make it go away not muscle toning.
