Was quite interested in below case, got transparent cut out to show off Nexus logo. Wonder the TPU material was more toward hard or soft type.Diztronic Voyeur |

QUOTE(zaFrOoNaLdO @ Dec 30 2013, 05:00 PM) i thot bulk buy casing.. hehehe.. anyway, i wonder why we need the wireless charger? what are the pros and cons? For people like me who constantly charge phone ( most likely through PC's USB port ), wireless charging is much convenient, no plug-unplug cable so phone's USB port are more preserved. Another point, it's just cool link to XDA pls! i wanna try print out some pics too. hehe |

Waiting for Samsung's new Exynos S ( custom core, 64bit ), Samsung claimed 1.43 faster than S800. Let's see the war of SoC on 2014

QUOTE(hhoong @ Dec 31 2013, 06:11 PM) IMHO, I dont think the fight is on the high power processor any more, i do wan a better battery, better camera, better price. We do wish they would start war of price, but from what I see is opposite. See all these newly refreshed product's high price, iPad Air/Mini retina, iPhone 5S, Samsung Round, LG G Flex . . . . Manufacturers keep on testing new higher price point for their product. Luckily we still have Nexus line, other like Oppo and XiaoMi difficult to obtain.a 2GHz quad core processor is already so fast, Nexus 5 is the prove. i think 2014 will be the war of price, when Motorola come in to play ... |

Hands on feel soooo good without case . . . .Anyway, already faced first obstacle, does anyone had issue connect to Wifi ? I'm using TM Unifi router/modem. Unable to find my wifi, manual setup also shown not in range. Goes into modem configuration page, I had previously set it to 802.11N only, 20MHz channel only, visible SSID and fixed Channel 13. Change it to 20/40Mhz and auto channel, working now. Above was due to Channel 12 and 13 was banned outside Europe/Japan. ( Didnt insert my SIM card, so phone cant figure it out that our country are allow to use Channel 12 and 13 ) |

QUOTE(VeryPhickTenis @ Jan 1 2014, 02:06 PM) Mine is 312k also but its not revised version either but don't really mind since the device is already a beast..just that the buttons bother me sometimes Yeah, since I listen to music through my own headset, and I've been using TouchControl slide to unlock/lock phone. Just ashamed that those really nice ceramic button was woobly Now waiting for Slim Armor to arrive then perfect. |

Noticed that Cataclysm ROM was quite popular among you all, am still on stock. As long time ParanoidAndroid fans, and they had yet to deliver their popular features ( Hybrid engine, HALO etc ), might as well try other ROM.
What would be the main attraction of Cataclysm ROM for you ? Any significant battery life difference between Cataclysm with custom kernel vs Stock with custom kernel ? Thx |

QUOTE(djlah @ Jan 1 2014, 03:29 PM) why can't use the phone while it charging? Using which wireless charger ?but 1 thing inconvenient for me for sure is, I need to remove my flip cover I used quite some time in PA last time, that time really like per app setting, hybrid and HALO. but already bored. then moved to Omni coz of multiwindows in JB times, might going back once Omni finalize multi-windows. main attraction of Cataclysm that I'm using now is, stable, smart radio and some cherry picked customization. kernel? stock is good but I need more extra feature. popular picked kernel: faux, franco, ElementalX, etc... Thx for comment on Cataclysm. Mulit windows not my cup of tea, my loyalty on PA was mainly Hybrid engine, I just hate when our phone was HD capable but icons and fonts was so bloody huge, so in love with Phablet mode of PA. Just view few youtube video for Cataclysm ROM, quite nice, with those tiny but useful customization |
