You are not wrong but that sacrifice the high and mid. So if you connect to HF you will sacrifice the low. To get good from LF and HF is either you bi-wire or bi-amp or your jumper cable must be good

Not sure about tax for new amp.
Experienced before tax on 2nd hand Xiaomi Air Purifier no receipt just told officer was 2nd hand $30 & officer issue receipt ask pay minimum tax rm20.

Btw the minidsp and umik 1 with REW has been pretty interesting I would say.

I’ll surely need to do a few more rounds of tests and push the PEQ to the minidsp a number of times

So far the PEQ I have kinda makes the sub quieter than usual BUT I think it’s due to me doing the EQ at 75db SPL while my usual listening volume is only around 42db and maybe 53db max when I really wanna bring the house down (seriously any more than that makes me anxious of getting neighbours knocking my door lol)

Will share my graph later but I have a null at around 26-30 hz and a pretty bad null at around 70-80hz

From the home theatre guru video I watched I should be able to alter the input PEQ somewhat to help with those nulls hence may try that on the next iteration. Of course not as good as trying to reposition sub or getting a second unit!

Very interesting to see how the graph changes by doing slight changes like closing the door which is pretty close to the sub compared to it open for example.

Audyssey Multeq app is also pretty good but I’m confused as to wether when I’ve done the EQ using REW and then run audyssey does it end up double EQing the sub frequency.

What I do before running the sub EQ is to disable audyssey on the Denon by changing it from Reference to Off. Although I notice the distance and levels are still there after doing that, perhaps those don’t relate to the room correction audyssey does.
