How was the 5010 compared to your v681? It didn't sound good?

The changing cable thing sounds like snake oil to me coz if new power cables can make a difference they are implying that the original cables are defective/crap?
I don't really understand the logic of this power socket and power cable thingy. Is it just a placebo affect or there is some truth to it?
*
if u have desktop pc. lcd screen. or water kettle periuk nasi that use iec plug.
swap with ur amp. hear to believe it
some logic of fuse (uk plug) is the heat generated changing resistance.

Why view the absence of detachable power cable negatively? It means one less contact point that will give rise to sound degradation.

If need to change to another power cable, just solder the new cable directly to the equipment. Much better off this way.

the ori saiz is small 2x0.75mmsq.
but cable does not affect sound as much as a fuse

For my Atmos speakers, I bought Oxygen from Acoustique Systems (Amcorp Mall) in 2016. Can't remember exactly... around RM 10 to 12 per metre.

A guy from Home Theatre enthusiast shown me his setup which are using 2 Yammy avr for this... he told me yammy comes with a feature that supports this function with using only 1 remote but I dunno how true it is?  Rxa3060 connected with Rxv671 for 7.2.4 setup...
hmm.gif
*
just use the 3060 control.
671 in direct mode = same as basic spk amp

Remember... even the latest DVD also got Cinavia protection. When you play any *ah-hem" disc... sound muted after playing some time. Bluray also got cinavia. Not all discs have it so the problem only appear for those discs that they put in Cinavia. Of course, totally NO problem for genuine original discs.
*
didnt know about dvd cinavia. i know can bypass using other language

Using AVR for home theater for front speaker using bi-amp better or external power amp better tq
*
avr biamp split power supply to more channel. u lose peak power at expense of improved low-mid volume.
power amp ok. depend ur speaker becos it make the sound.
if has budget can upgrade spk first.

*

No golden rule.
Most competent speakers should be able to play with authority down to at least 60-80hz, making 80hz a very nice balance point as a crossover for most situations/rooms.
I personally have my LCRs at 60hz, surrounds and heights at 80hz.
But at the same time, I've heard and seen a few people who employs a minimum of 6 subs in the room but has LCR speakers that can play down to 40hz easily yet cross them at 100hz. Because of how even the bass is in the room due to the multi subs config, even at 120hz it is very difficult to localize where the subs are yet at the same time the LCR speakers sound extremely cohesive with the entire system.
*
i think one of the cause is too much spk or room mode /size at those frequency are exessive. so 100hz is choosen then able to control from each sub level and filter

I also set my lcr at 60hz n the rest 80hz but i realise when lcr set to 80hz the mid is more detail. Any commend on this. Actually my ypao detect all  my spk as big n 40hz but i set all to small n the hz as above mention
*
did u place front spk very close to wall?
40hz the subwoofer hardly play becos ypao often adjust sub level very low. turn up master volume the room just shaking.

u put 80hz the mid clear and detail. subwoofer also get more signal so u able to find a balance to match bass to other spks.
if that u feel realistic then ok. becos every spk act different when u feed high vs low hz.

mine is 2.5way floor stand where the 3rd driver need some 60hz to run otherwise it did not move + sounds weird. so i choose that. same as my center ch.

try to buy ofc pure copper cable online..14awg or 16awg will work for you.. consider thicker cable (smaller awg) if the placement is near and thinner cable (higher awg) if your placement is further.

u terbalik near & far izit ?
