QUOTE(rE3ves87 @ Jun 4 2014, 09:13 AM) Is it true that all new car now dont have autolock by default? Not sure all. but I think most car aren't equip autolock anymore due to safety issues. Reported car wont open the lock when accident occur. I checked new toyota, honda and perodua dont have autolock.

QUOTE(wai1460 @ Jun 4 2014, 09:37 AM) Anyone know where to purchase TRD drop in filter in Malaysia? Try TOM's. They have one outlet in Bangsar and Sunway. If you're interested drop by the Sunway branch and look for Kevin.

Getting Started

|
PJ sees a lot more Altis now, less exclusivity. .. sigh New Civic can hardly be found though.
No matter what, new City is flooding the streets.

QUOTE(armadasaxon @ Jun 10 2014, 11:09 AM) 1 stupid question..how to check tyre pressure?and how to remove? You can either get a tyre pressure gauge from any hardware store to check the pressure or drive to a petrol station, release the air from the tyre and then pump to the desired pressure.

QUOTE(DannyMc @ Jun 2 2014, 10:55 AM) was trying to install Locktech Thailand built but the stock's wiring seems to be for old Altis, I have to wait for another 2 weeks.... anyway, the Aerokit bodykit + installation was quoted RM1.5K only Not bad. For Locktech, my SA said is not must have item as it may be more inconvenience if you need to start your car fast. In addition, he said people can also bypass this probably another 2-5mins.

QUOTE(teri2688 @ Jun 10 2014, 09:06 PM) This may sound stupid, how to read this crusing range? the numbers means Estimated range left by kilometer/miles (this u can set urself, refer manual=p) based on your current fuel balance. however, I do think altis tank kept a lot of fuel as reserve. Because toyota claim the tank is 55L..but at 'E line' I just manage to fill 45L till tank almost overflow..LOL

Before i bought mine, been reading alot of review saying this altis is dull to drive..i goes 50-50 between altis and mazda3. But my wife says toyota is the best auto manufacturer (ex-proton engineer), and my boss (ex-motorola engineer) says toyota is a benchmark company for engineering industry (FYI, they not working for toyota)..so i ended up buying altis...and guess what..it is REALLY FUN TO DRIVE!! I dont know why internet says otherwise! To ppl out there, do test drive this car. Ignore what haters say. Really worth it to consider. Btw, i got 17.0 km/l driving from karak to kuantan. It is way2 fuel saving in highway (with decent nice driving style). Last week just goes to cameron and guess the fc? Its 14.4 km/l return trip to puchong!

My new job assignment requires frequent travelling to outskirt Klang Valley...I am on training now and mostly city drive. Still dont see fc to the optimum level as yet...no doubt it's really fun to drive... I m a 2.0v owner too.
