QUOTE(C-Note @ May 25 2014, 09:16 PM) honda usually tries its best to give the best package possible to its customers.test drive the top spec city vs polo sedan. IMHO: cabin: city high tech with touch screens vs PS classy & mature (stripping away all the gadgets except the essentials while still not looking/feeling too cheap) drivetrain: city 1500cc + cvt vs 1600cc + 6at, more or less on par in terms of power/pickup/fc but the cvt is better looks: city is young and refreshing vs PS classy & mature might not appeal for youngsters safety: on par btw......"german" since it is made in india |

Need some recommendation on a new car. Been driving a 2nd hand Saga LMST for a few years now.
Looked at a number of cars, and looks like it'll come down to either Honda or KIA. 1. Brand - As mentioned above, any other suggestions are welcomed 2. Budget - ~80-90k. Aiming for installment of RM800+ /month. 3. New/Used/Unreg. - Surveyed some cars but figured that used cars of the 1-3 years would require a payment which is almost equivalent to paying for a new car, so, prefer a new one. 4. Specs - Hopefully it has sufficient airbags and VSC. 5. Transmission - Auto, mostly driving in KL 6. NA or FI ? 7. Type - Leaning towards sedan, might consider hatchbacks as well. 8. Remarks - Looked at the new City V Spec, KIA Rio, and maybe KIA Cerato. I really like the Cerato's outlook and features though. Not really considering the Vios, coz of the features offered at that price point, and also of some quality issues I read around. I know that there's a thread somewhere around here comparing between the City and Cerato, but there's only a number of good feedback from there, so I hope I can get a good feedback from here |

Sifus... Need advice from you all who know more.
I was looking around for used car, and found one 2 year car with low millage. The condition looks good (Just look...). The 2nd hand car dealer say it was a show unit. Somehow they do not have service record. And no warranty available from the maker... My question is, will show room unit end up in a 2nd hand car garage? Will show unit have number plate? |

Any advice? basic new persona should be about 40k2009 high line persona is about 20-24k half price, but already 5 years old. i don't really recommend getting used proton because it's quality is subjective thus usually people discard them when the parts all starting to fail. |

Hi all car experts, me request your opinion on a car i wana buy. Its my first vehicle purchase.
1. Brand : Japanese cars 2. Budget : 60k (monthly installment not more than 600/month) 3. New/Used/Unreg : Used 4. Specs : 1.5l above , basic safety features, 5. Transmission : Auto 6. NA or FI : Both also dont matter 7. Type : 4-5 seater sedan or hatchback 8. Remarks : Good boot space , not too big not too small (say above 350L) , good for long hauls , and carry some stuff. Mainly use as a car to go to work and tumpang ppl occasionally. What would you guys recommend? Open to discussion. TQ~ |
