QUOTE(Nitrous @ Mar 28 2014, 05:10 PM) When it came to zero, my right feet was really light, like an angel.... but still moving and still manage to make it to the petrol station of my choice. The fuel pump has yet to whine and choke, so i kept on driving till I find the petrol station of my choice if you chose 10w 30 so does the feel heavy? compare with 0w 20?Nope, i don't believe in the 0-20W oil... too light for my kinda heavy-footed driving. Furthermore, my CRZ manual have specifically said that 0-20W is NOT meant for Malaysia cars. Honda somehow changed that manual for later edition cars, which subsequently says that 0-20W oil is suitable for Malaysian CRZ. I do not have a screenshot of my manual now, but can provide it later. At this moment, due to the nature of my driving, I am using 10-30W Torco full-synth oil. |

QUOTE(jceh83 @ Apr 2 2014, 02:33 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « go for J's Racing or Spoon replacement drop in.. don't waste time on K&N.. I've tried all the 3 mention and even Takeda.. Another one you may want to keep a look out for is Weapon R air intake system.. This post has been edited by civicspoon: Apr 3 2014, 07:56 AM |

QUOTE(jceh83 @ Apr 3 2014, 02:53 PM) Takeda is not too bad.. I'm basing my views on my personal view and on what they call the "buttock" test.. great!i bought takeda intake. pulling power rpm 4k and above is lighter. easy to get speed 180kmh...I always use car to work. but since im to work early as 6am, not much car around on NPE hway...what else....after toll start to pull from gear 2nd all the way to 6th. syiok...but return back traffic jam!!!!!!!!!! econ mode not much help. but notice even takeda low torque hurt a bit. with this upgrade FC is 17km/l combined.Takeda (RM1500~RM1600) gives me a stronger pull at revs from 4K and above and I feel that it pulls much smoother compared to stock. I'm running on Pro Dry S filter which is washable. Rumour goes that it doesn't work as well for CVT. Rating 8/10 J's Racing (RM300~RM350) has an overall improvement in terms of pulling power in all range of rev and the higher revs pull is very similar to Takeda. J's Racing filter is not reusable. Rating 7/10 Spoon (RM200~RM300) makes the engine feel rev happy and gives an overall impression that your engine is revs easier. However, the pull from 5K rev feels like its straining the engine. Spoon filter is not reusable. Rating 7/10 (i do a lot of low rev driving as I'm only driving to and fro from work so I highly recommend this) K&N (RM200~RM280) also makes the engine feel lighter but once you have tried the above, you know its not really worth the upgrade. The performance would be similar to Spoon but gives you maybe 20% of what Spoon can offer. It is also one of the cheapest replacement drop in filter around and the best thing is its reusable. It is only a lil' better than stock. Rating 4/10. All the above except for K&N was running on my car with cat-back delete mods done on the exhaust system and lightened crank pulley. I'm also running solely on RON97. This post has been edited by civicspoon: Apr 3 2014, 06:11 PM |

QUOTE(srun99 @ Apr 4 2014, 09:02 PM) bro don't bro...I've bought it already....it sucks really usually during day time especially hot day driving...no power!!!! stock intake more better...really a waste of money...coz the piping is made of metal, then the air sensor is position wrongly so you get really bad performance especially for country like Malaysia really hot...so engine bay temp becomes really hot...if you want some performance gains find drop in J's racing or spoon. k&n I bought myself also no feel. now I'm using takeda. have significant feel when rpm 4k above(really helps to get away from cars that like to kiss our rear end)....low torque hurt a bit....easy to get 180kmh....depends which 95 fuel ur using...mine petron...previously bhp but somehow after fill in many times BHP give less power... |

QUOTE(Omnipotent @ Apr 9 2014, 03:17 PM) not at the moment. i don't have a pic. but i've seen the option before, so i'm sure it's there. it is called "Hold Econ" and you have to set it to "Yes". what???? r u really sure of this? coz I have many times enter the menu. the menu is just simple setting...compare overseas their setting is more than us...what it does is that if you switch off your car in Normal or Econ mode, it will start back in Econ. If you switch off your car in Sport mode, it will start back on Normal. |

i have tried petron, tried bhp, somehow shell ron 95 best for my car...what confuses me is that bhp was the best petrol coz it gives the best performance with best FC. but after 2-3 fill in, some how bhp really destroys my FC in all modes(sport mode can save fuel,

how bout petronas? your car is stock?
not stock. I just install takeda intake and siècle map controller...only this 2 upgrades...PETRONAS? have tried before but not so satisfied with the way engine behaves. the pedal is not responsive if compare to other fuels. u feel like want to take out the petrol from ur car. so conclusion for my car petron and shell. i rest my case. no more testing...now can rest peacefully. QUOTE(Viggen @ Apr 11 2014, 01:23 AM) Yes it's a brand new 6MT! Apparently the PDI in Bangi missed out this unit in their stock yard according to my dealer. Found 1 unit 6MT when clearing stock. It was sent together with the order of CRZ CVT the dealer made. My dealer doesn't even know the shipment came with a unit of 6MT until they checked the list. I'm just being lucky to be at the right time & at the right place. Just couldn't be happier when I was told there's still a unit 6MT available. Placed my booking immediately. It is the last unit CRZ 6MT to be registered in Malaysia!! wow! what a story. the car also lucky to have a owner like you. congratulation bro. welcome!!! we all are lucky bro.... |

guys, what other engine oils are you using? I feel Honda oil not so good..if your driving like a grandma...yes its ok...but if u drive like ur racing its not that good...u can feel the car less responsive...Honda offer other oils for type r example...but its 10w 30. out there are other brands that offer good quality oil with same rating 0w20..such as mobil 1, petro Canada...anyone have tried this?
