QUOTE(ilyas_jamal @ Jul 11 2014, 08:55 PM) jceh83 slapped on Desmond Evo Regamaster to his blacked out CRZ.. looks damn nice... and yes.. the aero mirrors are manually adjusted.. for insulation you can get the Dyna Mat... 3 or 4 of them just enough for the 2 doors... last time a friend of mine for a great deal out of it can cost him 400 but now days pretty hard to get at that price for a good quality the insulation you talking about me again ah... hahaha... 3 pieces enough for 2 doors..

QUOTE(moonless @ Jul 15 2014, 11:19 PM) Dear All, need help here! my Z alarm triggered without any reason when the car is parked and locked. This happened 2 weeks ago, initially i tot it was due to my hatch door was not closed properly. But it happens again today morning and evening! I checked all doors are properly closed. Any idea?? is it due to battery dying soon? (my car almost a year) pls help Bring it back to Honda SC and my answer to your question is maybe..

QUOTE(civicspoon @ Jul 18 2014, 10:09 AM) will check again from time to time...i hope there's no sensors kong...but if there was...sure there will be CEL coming out... it happened to me 3 times yesterday...really strange... went back check all sensors all are intact...during the exhaust checking they didn't touch the o2 sensors... hope there's nothing major problem here. do a reset.. CRZ is a little sensitive.. I've done a throttle body change before and my car started dying on me with all the warning stuff coming out... after much researching, our ECU is just too conservative.. even the Spoon throttle body which is suppose to have no hiccups turns out to have problems with our car... scouring crzforum you can find many problems CRZ owners encounter.. btw, I have Takeda running too without problems.. Many who are on CVT is having problems though with Takeda..biggest being power drop and high FC... Suggest if you are on CVT to change back to ori AI unit and change the filter to a Spoon or J's Racing replacement drop in.. This post has been edited by jceh83: Jul 18 2014, 11:31 AM

QUOTE(gunplakk @ Jul 31 2014, 10:19 AM) CRZ vs Jazz 2 different thing .... if you wan fun, CRZ, if you want practical Jazz... its not the S+ only that gives it more power.. the FL engine was retuned to give higher output as well.... if u manage to test drive both side by side I am quite sure you will feel a difference, even if you dont push the S+. Higher output because of the electric motor.. the petrol engine remains the same..

QUOTE(civicspoon @ Aug 6 2014, 11:12 AM) as for me my upgrade was the takeda intake and deleting the cat...power gain at the midrange...now its so easy to get to 180kmh if to compare to stock condition. if i only delete the cat....retain the stock intake...power gain not so much noticeable. but if u change the air intake...power gains can feel from 3000 rpm until rev cut....now much more fun to drive. its alot more power when u off the aircon...(1.5 engine with aircon on will kill the performance). so this morning i overtook mitsubishi lancer 2.0 at hill at 179kmh...in fifth gear with s+ on....earlier on the lancer overtook me at 183kmh in 6th gear....then coming to a hill, i dropped gear to 5th, on the s+ overtook with ease....maybe the lancer didn't expect that.... my opinion if to change 1 set of exhaust system is ok...but need to tune the ecu...if not maybe u will be wasting fuel...as the AFR is not set properly...and if set less restriction in exhaust....air intake need to suck more air. what engine oil do you use? I do not fully comprehend the scenario as I wasn't present but to need S+ to overtake a lancer is something I do not understand unless the lancer has been modded a lil' here and there too.. our car kinda eat lancer 2.0 and FD 2.0 for breakfast, lunch and dinner..well by my experience using sports mode only as I do not have S+..

QUOTE(civicspoon @ Aug 6 2014, 03:48 PM) engine oil petro canada semi yes the lancer was modified. im not sure its a lancer or evo 10. (it was dark) s+ button gives u an instant electric motor power deliver to flywheel....i drop 5th gear and press s+ to get a faster acceleration (but hybrid battery will deplete much faster)...to overtake at hill will need more power... the story here is that to compare my stock power and modded power. if stock i wouldn't have a chance to overtake a running car speed 170kmh at hill... with this setup i achieve hway 17.6 km/l, city 16.4 km/l combine 16.8 km/l niceeeeeeeee

QUOTE(ahfox @ Aug 17 2014, 07:47 AM) wat 550!! for cat delete?? n 2k for ss exhaust sys?? waaaaa,,why so expensive? before i onli paid RM90 for cat delete on impreza, n for full sys from downpipe to tip, only take 7-900 for ss, n 1500 for titanium. could be because of the mandrel bending and stuff la.. material prices could have increased too.. but I got mine done for less than 1k, catback exhaust + catdelete... din touch the header tho.. i can't remember if it is SS but I wouldn't be bothered if it isn't either...

QUOTE(Omnipotent @ Aug 22 2014, 12:17 PM) These few days i noticed my crz front drivers brake making loud metallic sound when cold. Sounds like brake pads due for replacement but i checked its still quite thick. Car has only 36k kms. Sound goes off after the brakes are warm. Anyone with the same problem? u r still using ori brake pads or have changed to hi-temp pads?

QUOTE(civicspoon @ Sep 3 2014, 09:36 AM) damn! this morning satria neo overtake me at hill at 189kmh.....satria neo that fast????? couldn't get this over my mind...its haunting me....aaaaaargh....could the satria supercharged? or with hi cams? turbo surely not coz no sound of blow off.. actually...satria neo was never really a slow car.. 1.6 comes with 110bhp and 148Nm torque..it also can b considered "light" and with some minor mods..this car is pretty zippy... http://paultan.org/2006/06/16/proton-satri...nd-16-in-depth/well either that or the fella squeezing the shit out of his car to overtake you..

QUOTE(rx330 @ Sep 5 2014, 11:48 AM) hahaha, back to square one pray for cheap centrifrugal set and hondata for cvt btw, if i get coilovers, can i set it more comfortable than normal ride and lowered as well i may have some budget to go coilovers, but i was being advice by ilyas to go for progressive springs, if im on a tight budget any good and cheap coilovers? then ur car will squat a lot.. in general, coilovers will give you a firmer ride.. i'm also on springs instead of coilovers.. good thing no cheap thing, cheap thing no good thing...

QUOTE(rx330 @ Sep 5 2014, 12:31 PM) i go by that motto too so a spring is still the best idea to have a comfy right with lowered look? Tein = Good (personal experience) Spoon = Good (ask yeahjamal) H&R = Lowest but not so good because left not much rebound on the absorber which caused my car to squat and my front to scrape.. (personal experience and was on Noblesse kit)

QUOTE(ilyas_jamal @ Sep 5 2014, 09:03 PM) tien isn't progressive springs as they are liner springs (sport springs).. kinda hard for me to explain in words what are the difference between them both.. but i do feel and experience the significant difference as ive tested jceh83 before and other brands of springs.. also some sellers are pro-claiming that Tien is pretty overrated compared to other brands as they have the brand and the "green" look.. haha.. but as for now i do love my spoon springs with fixed dampers setup.. comfy enough for me as a daily driver... http://automotivethinker.com/suspension/li...e-rate-springs/good link to find out more about linear vs progressive springs.. btw, yeah.. tein luxury master is progressive.. only my H&R, which u tried, is horrible..hahahah
