I think Monday should re-bounce a bit.. then bears can attack more. biggrin.gif

Take a look at QQQ ETF.. (Nasdaq 100). One big candlestick pierced thru 50ma.
Volume is super big today. All tech stocks - high flyers and momo get whacked.

Need -3 pts to test Feb low.

I also wish that too. But, sometimes got to be realistic because this market is still bullish.
Minor correction here and there only.

-10% means SP500 has to go down to 1700, Dow has to go down to 15000, Nasdaq to 3900.
That would be slightly below Feb low.

I think as long as one of three generals (Sp500, Dow or Nasdaq) stay above 50ma,
it may be tough to push this down.

That bounce point is that 50ma line. Nasdaq is already broken but Sp500 and Dow still got chance. Watch this next week.

Then, there is also that YTD benchmark thingy... a lot of side money wanting to pounce this market since they missed the Q1 move. A lot of people are under invested, and they'll buy whenever it touches those bounce points.
I think April/May certainly got some opportunities. Keep powder dry.. keep cash ready. laugh.gif

good for that too, as correction is mild, then the period on recovery from correction will also be shorter. That goes more easy for our cash flow, anytime can cash out also not much damage. laugh.gif

do you think the end of QE (about 5-6 months from now) might be a non-event to the market? hmm.gif

I don't know about QE non-event - maybe yes, I think market tends to bake that in.

Over the weekend, I've looked at the breakdown in biotechs.. oh man.. lots of good opportunity to short on next bounce. brows.gif

Wait lah... 1840 still holding up. Once 1839 breaks.. then only go SHORT to get more money. brows.gif

I want to see some bounces here.. also want to be a bit bull to grab some money on oversold condition.
So, I'm want to play this bounce.

Dive to 1837...rebounded.. hold off the floor at 1840, bouncing to 1848.
50ma is a good spot for bears to cover some and longs to step in some.

Hold it here for 3 days till Friday!! Let me get my premiums! laugh.gif

Testing short term ceiling at 1850-1852, a strong break thru or close here, we could see higher prices tomorrow.

Nasdaq and Dow also rebounding.

50ma support is working. thumbup.gif

Anything is possible. Right now, it is in the middle of the band.
Will it go up 50pts first or go down another 50pts to 1800?
or..halfway there.. 1875 or 1825? unsure.gif

But, long term trend for SP500 still intact. We'll see a lot of buyers if it can retrace to 1800 level.
