QUOTE(danmooncake @ Feb 28 2014, 12:09 PM) No, I got stopped out when it dropped below 535. I see. At the time being, u have TSLA to keep watch these few days But, I would like to get long again if it can pull back a little more.. near 505~510. But, if too close 500 could be dangerous spot. Also, SP500, Dow and Nasdaq near all time high again. So, this isn't the time to be overly aggressive. Good to lock in some profits and set trailing stops in case of sudden appearance of bears. Wasn't expecting them to reach all time high so fast. Never get to join the wave, chicken out on the previous dip |

Lol all waiting for AAPL to drop. Yeah seriously s5 not putting up a good fight this round(spec wise).
Everyone waiting 500-510 u wan 480 lol Anyway from Bloomberg~ TSLA record! QUOTE The luxury electric-car maker’s 619 percent rally in the last 12 months is unmatched by any global automaker in at least 20 years, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Tesla’s almost 15-fold jump since its June 2010 initial public offering is also bigger than any U.S. stock that has debuted since 2006. |

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Feb 28 2014, 10:54 PM) Tried Interactive Brokers for the first time - can't say I like the interface at all but the fees seem far more reasonable than TDAM for non commission free ETFs. The transfer fee is a bit higher compare to TDA ~.~ But comm. and fee wise definitely way cheaper! And interface wise, i've only tried the demo which is not even a papertrade, for a short time. Probably need some time to play around the interface.Looks like transfer in, cost me $35 TSLA stuck at 252 and S&P climbing; even tho economy was slower than expected |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Mar 3 2014, 02:33 AM) I doubt it.. Samsung first wearable Gear1 didn't sell well. AAPL now know, consumers do not care much about watches. Ya the prev watch sales was bad.I think AAPL investors are also tired of the same old rehash of the same products: Phones, Tablets, Computers, Music Players, etc. Investors are waiting for the new products that hasn't been attempted before and must get that "wow" factor back in. Some historical data quoted from Stock Almanac 2014 for March *BULL = favorable trading days based on S&P rising 60% or more during 21-year period *BEAR = opposite ditto of BULL Mar5 ;BULL Mar9 (SUNDAY) ;Daylight Saving Time Begin Mar13 ;BULL Mar17 ;BULL Mar18 ;BULL Mar19 ;BULL Mar21 ;BEAR, TRIPLE WITCHING DAY Mar24 ;BULL Mar26 ;BEAR Mar28 ;BEAR |

QUOTE(Mercy Shadows @ Mar 3 2014, 09:13 PM) If i not mistaken they are compatible with EXCEL API; something like you can trade and manage your portfolio using excel sheet. Not very clear bout this though. Some traders might prefer this |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Mar 4 2014, 01:29 AM) I'm waiting for SP500 1825 level or Dow 16000. Am looking to enter slightly higher than you. Probably wait and observe tomorrow first before I decide Maybe we get there by Friday. Meanwhile, good to sell some PUTs for those stocks that you're willing to own. VIX spiked up 17% Take a look at the Russia related shares RSX -7.5% RUSL (3x bull) -22% RUSS (3x bear) +22% ERUS -8% I think those are good opportunities... Still holding to your TSLA? Looks like holding well but stuck at 252, expecting it to continue rally if breakout from 252... hopefully |

Den may it be flat till Friday so you can keep the premium QUOTE(netmask8 @ Mar 4 2014, 08:43 AM) DJIA/ Nasdaq / SnP red, but AAPL green, ISM Manufacturing Reading is good, AAPL manage to climb back slightly before the session end while LVS price is in 52 weeks high. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Mar 15 2014, 08:57 PM) Still holding but if it drops below 220, I'm out. From 260 to 230, 30 pts decline within 2 weeks, eventho my TSLA hopefully wont drop below 220 coz expecting the gap up earlier to be the support zone, but worst come to worst you still exit with profit... just not tat much cost average is lower, the premium gain wasn't good enough to compensate for the 30 pts. Darn.. hopefully, it will stay here (higher than 220) otherwise I'll have to lock my profit. QUOTE(mikehwy @ Mar 16 2014, 11:06 AM) the new rule in limiting the sales outlet really prohibits the uptrend. but hopefully its a short knee jerk. next week could see a mild reversal?? a normal reaction to current issues so maybe just a slight pullback; seems like quite a big one |
