Its depend on how you drive as well during long distance route, i drove most of the time 90 - 100, only a few route i drove 120 - 140.

from 7.8 raised to 9.7 Liter per 100km due to lot of stupid motor cyclist and random drivers simply drove out of no where made me break my car all the time = =

I just back from Penang Batu Feringi to George Town, terrifying road = = bloody uncle driving a mini couple just stop in middle of the road to decide to keep left or right.

My drive from George Town to Batu Ferringi and back to George Town did a heavy blow to my FC, 10.2liter per 100km.

The problem is I can't read where this nut head driver from Penang (no offence penang brothers / sisters) wants to go, a minute they are 30% on left lane 70% on right lane, the next minute they sped off to the right lane then made a sharp left turn.

I had to over take slow clumsy driver and escape from them before they did something out of the box to my car XD

I always knew it is a pain in the backside to drive in penang, drove few times in penang with my old Kenari not as stressful as this round with alza. First Kenari was smaller = easier handling, 2nd Kenari was few years old = even some scratch I have no feeling.

This Alza, First Bigger and Longer then Kenari = haven't fully use to it's blind spot / body area, 2nd New car = extra careful on the road. LOL

Any way I am back n KL now below are the overall review on Alza Advance;

Fuel: Great, doing 6.2 Liter per 100km in average (Highway)

Comfort: Good (This comment will be subjective as I upgraded from a Kenari)

A/C: Great

GPS: Sucks, lucky I have my trusty Nokia GPS & Waze

Entertainment: Great, I modified the Main Screen to be able to watch Movie even in drive mode. (So that my front
passenger can do co-driver duty instead of falling asleep)

Entertainment Audio Quality: Not too bad (Subjective comment as I upgraded from a Kenari)

Interior Heat: Will get a bit heaty if under direct Sunlight due to stock security film does not help in blocking sun light. (Thank god the A/C is good to cool down the space)

Interior Noise: A bit noisy due to the stock silverstone tire, Engine Noise when in High RPM or High KM/H (but I am ok with the engine noise as it's a music to my ear )

Ride Quality & Handling Feels: Not too bad actually, some corners / straight road will be dangerous when in High Speed due to the Stock Silverstone tire as it's bouncy and not so good in gripping when cornering.

Pick-up acceleration: Not too bad.

Breaking Quality: So far so good (Subjective comment as I upgraded from a Kenari), but need to beware on the breaking distance as Alza has a heavier body as well as the stock tire does not help much on corner breaking.

Interior Space: If travel by 3-4 pax will be very comfortable and spacious, I only travel with mum, the extra space can allow us with more shopping goods

Car exterior: Paint no good, easy to be scratched and LOVE to stick with stain. Compare with my old kenari, Alza Advance paint should be low quality paint material. On the road there's some light weight soft debris / rubbish /small stone hit my front bumper / skirting / car body when I was driving between 90 - 120 km/h. There is visible scratches on car body. Not sure if this happen to any one else. But it is recommended not to go back to Perodua SC for a repaint as they may be using back the same grade of paint.

Agree, I drove estima to Penang once and Johor once. Then Triton around KL area few times. Both also not my car, and it's old so I don't feel that stressful to be honest LOL.

Alza much more stressful is cause of my hard earn money XD

By the way, I know this is out of topic. But I believe Alza club member should see this, as I drove in Ipoh near by "Lou Wong Chicken Rice" restaurant area. There is a lot of so call "Parking Assistant Person" around that area giving you "assist" in your parking then they ask for RM5 - RM10 or more.

See below photo, there's a guy standing on the left of my car front wind screen? I was actually parked there then he walked to me and ask for money, of cause I refuse. He threaten to scratch my car if I do not pay up, so fine I reverse out and drove away, he actually pointed international finger at me, though my cheap car cam can't capture it clear enough.

Budget solution: Can try install buffer, Perodua SC can do it for you but need to make order first before sending the car for installation.

I request my SA to do it for me before I receive my car. But please, drive safe. Even i switch on the movie, i only listen to the sound not watching the screen.

Agree agree, but in Klang Valley area for some reason I can read when they are going of cause some of them I couldn't read and end up had to Honk at them to wake them up.

Agreed on the illegal parking assist, actually why no one take action on them? With the technology now, phone camera, cheapo china made car camera and all. I know some time is convenient for tourist, but shit do happen!

Regarding on penang, maybe there is tourist from random places rented a car.
Car I still can accept, but motorcyclist I can't. In singapore motorcycle can use the road same as a car as they are not allowed to use emergency lane/clip to the lane lining. But SG motorcyclist maintain a decent speed along with the car.

In penang no, those motorcyclist out of no where rush out from a junction which almost cost accident ride out to the middle of the road with speed the slow it down to 20-30km/h. It is superduper risky actually, for car to do it at least car is big size / visible to be spot by others car.
Motorcycle is smaller, lets say when I am near to an interchange, the motorcyclist rushed out to middle of the road and blocked by my car. another car from my back which tried to overtake me may bang into the motorcyclist.

I am afraid it's either the USB port on the car is slow / the screen system got issue, I play movie with DVD no issue, but my music play back with my Kingston 8GB 3.0 Thumb drive always lag when I browsing the folder / shuffle music in my Alza Advance, worst some time I unable to answer voice call on bluetooth as the screen freezed, some time the screen freezed even without switching it on as the Time on screen frozen, the GPS also will freeze the screen from time to time and I had to do a hard reset.

And by the way, I though maybe the micro SD provided by Perodua was slow, so i copy and paste my GPS to my new 32GB Class 10 micro SD, the problem still exist.

Conclusion, the vendor which Perodua use to Design the screen interface and system really sucks or Perodua give low budget to them due to cost cutting.

Try driving in 110km/h - 130km/h at the highway which connected LDP to Sepang fast lane. Suspension / absorber pro or cheapo type also die standing. LOL
Driving on that highway = Riding on a Speed boat on the sea in storm + windy condition. Bounce and hopping like mad rabbit.

I may consider installing Buffers despite its life span short / long, at least it helps reduce some impact on absorber.

And stupid KLIA2 car park = =, the Metal Hump so damn big some more they did not paint it in visible color, yesterday I just went through it without slowing down. Shit.

The Perodua Segambut branch said they can offer this service to me with additional workmanship charges actually. I prefer to let them install since the absorber / suspension still under warranty, don't want later after install and some shit happen to the absorber on the road, went back to claim have trouble.

Most of the time I drive alone or with my dog and mum
I need that buffer is cause I travel a lot in car, a day should drove up to 100-200km. On the road sure encounter lot of idiotic road condition ><
