QUOTE(kimsim @ Oct 12 2014, 08:47 AM) Any feedback on your FG18VC? Cause this model is alway better than inverter one right... smaller outdoor size and internal used 24k btu blower. Edit for funny on gas pipe 15.88mm & liquid pipe just 6.35mm only.. if inverter 18K btu for still common size on 12.7mm & 6.35mm and 24k btu for 15.88 with 9.52mm dia of liquid.. i dont understand why this would be better than inverter - this model is inverter

If wanna buy ME model inverter 2hp, would skip 2hp & go for 2.5hp to instead it. If compare on 2hp, I would go for non inverter model for more powerful than 2hp inverter model here. Just for ME model inverter only

Specs has showing on 2hp maximum output less than 18btu at only 17btu at 1620w = 10.50 EER not so efficient. Also blower size used 1-1.5hp without 3D air swing and wide & long air flow. Gas pipes for this 2hp not wrong just like normal size 6 & 12mm only This post has been edited by kimsim: Oct 16 2014, 11:56 AM

Retrofit over existing a bit hard.

It has better energy saving rate. Legend and 88 electronics can get it cheaper than elsewhere if you're in PJ. But warn your installer that he needs to prepare 4 core wires from DB to compressor instead of the usual 3. This post has been edited by halcyon27: Oct 16 2014, 06:37 PM

I also guinea pig I already installed 1.0 and 1.5HP inverters in bedrooms. Very quiet at 20dB. 27-28deg C with 1 speed fan and VirusDoctor turned on. Auto LR used in 1.0HP and UD used in 1.5HP. The wattage can track by 2nd Function button and then Watt Usage. After turn off in morning, always auto clean to prevent mould build up.

QUOTE(silver88 @ Oct 16 2014, 07:00 PM) Bro, wat u want to said about the left right fan for 1HP and up down fan for the 1.5HP?? This one only because of room configuration. The 1hp is sited on widest wall so need to blow LR. The 1.5 sited on narrowest wall and only need to throw up down.
