To a degree. SAF worked his magic to drag this team to the title last season, but honestly speaking even then it has been well known that the team is weak in some areas. See our results in Europe the last 2 years? We have had stronger teams than this, for sure.

Part of the problem is fans keep on harping about this being a title winning squad, but they don't add on that SAF was what made the squad tick. Look at the squad, how many of them can you say are the best in their position in the entire league, let alone one of the best in Europe? De Gea, RvP, Rooney are probably the obvious ones that spring to mind immediately. You might be able to argue for Carrick and Rafael too. After that? SAF really worked his magic on the team to make it better than the sum of its parts, but now he is retired (and don't forget Scholes also retired).

You want to say DM isn't doing what SAF did? Definitely, agreed. SAF is a legend in the modern game for a reason.

Not even half the season gone after the biggest change the club has had in 27 years, and people are already reacting so harshly... I can understand being damn unhappy with the results, I'm angry too.. but hating on the manager so quickly.. sigh. Assume you get your wish and he is sacked, who would even replace him? And even if your dream manager was to come in, do you think a new manager wouldn't need time to settle in?

Transitional season is going to be brutal on everyone. Just hope our squad has better luck with injuries, that January brings good reinforcements, and that DM and his team learns fast.

I have seen it all as a United fan. I was supporting them before Sir Alex was even known about, Docherty was Manager when I started liking United. I was only 6 granted, but I have supported them as well as my other beloved team Wigan Warriors (Rugby League) for 37yrs now. I have endured Liverpools dominance and sat patiently waiting for us to knock them off their perch. I have endured trophyless seasons, I have seen us win almost everything there is 2 win. And I will say this....IF in 3 years we were to be battling in the murky depths of League 2. I will STILL be here, bantering, supporting and cheering my team. Because that's what fans do. I am not going to walk away because we hit rough times. I shall remain ever faithful to the team that has given me so much joy over the years. Because if I have learned anything from all those years as a United fan, it is.......NEVER.......EVER write off United, because they can, and will bounce back. And I'll be here waiting when they do. For those who want to walk away from them........Walk, this club is built on loyalty, we don't need you. How much effort did those boys post 1958 put in, to raise this club back from the ashes ?? blood sweat and tears were spilled for many a year, rebuilding when all was lost. We want loyal fans, not ones who simply want to support a "successful club". We have the best fans in the world, we respect our rivals, and we apprieciate good players, even if they play for a rival team. Let's stick together now, and show other fans WHY we are the best in the world, DO NOT give them reason to think otherwise. Let's get behind the team, and be the 12th man. Whether you are a Moyes fan or not, you never turn your back on the team. Those Busby Babes who survived, who helped rebuild this club faced bigger more difficult situations, they did it........because they were LOYAL and stuck together and never gave up hope..........United Till I Die.

With United so easily winning the title for the past 15-20 years or so.

There are bound to be some 'supporters' or 'fans' who can't stand taking a step back.

It's not the club that I hate, but some of the fans who feel the need to insult and aggravate other fans.

Everytime Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, City lose a game, I see alot of FB status going: "So wheres the XXX Fans now? Why so quiet?"

Then when MU lose a game, they get quiet.

As for Suarez being a cheat/racists or whatever.

As a law graduate, I cannot accept the charge of racism because the reasoning was based on 'probabilities' which IMO is not good enuff when you're condemning someone's image - having said that, I know Suarez is no saint or angel.

As for the diving, I hated it when he dived as well, it was embarrassing and I hated it every time he dived. But ever since his 'racism' row, he has cut out his diving almost totally. And I hope he continues to do so.

And yes, at this form, I do rate him above Rooney (quite abit) and RVP (not by much).
