A senior developer actually told me that she asked the boss before if it is possible to change the keyboards to Das keyboards to improve development, boss asked how much and once he heard the price, he say stick back with HP keyboards
agree with you right now i'm using cm stealth after selling my ducky. until now it feels good. this keyboard has a solid build.
but still i'm afraid of changing the keycaps because of the costar stabilizer.
http://imgur.com/a/nsEDr/ they won't snap that easily. i know that feeling, the first time i tried to remove n reinsert a big key with costar, took me 15 minutes to do one

Why's wrong with costar stabilizer until you afraid changing the keycaps ?
IMSTO seems quite expensive. But is nice to have a thick blank pbt. So, why don't have both?
imsto is end game keycaps for long-term or heavy usage wise. haha!
for abs, the only thing is it's beauty in design n colour. that's what u r paying for. if u like that and the price is justifiable to your desire in wanting that keycaps set...by all means go for it!
To celebrate their 10th anniversary, PFU has put together this limited edition, ¥525,000 (about $4,390) HG JAPAN model coated in Wajima lacquer -- a process which presumably renders panda essence with celebrity suet.
I've got a problem with keycool ABS keycaps. It look like the legends are abit small for me (it is quite abit less than 1/4 of the keycap size) and to make things worse, the infill is fading/coming off abit.
Do the keycool PBT/POM replacement keycaps share the same font and size as the ABS version? From what I can see from the pictures, all 3 share the same font for the legends. Are the PBT/POM versions also laser infilled?
IMHO, if you look to get a keycap replacement, don't need to go for the same type of legend if you don't like it already. and i'd recommend you to get pbt dyesub keycaps or doubleshot keycaps (abs or pbt, doesn't matter), the legend on the caps stays with it forever and ever or until the keycap gets destroyed.
Not really sure because I don't really have much knowledge on what's the difference between the switches but from listening to youtube I think I like the sound of blue or the black switches
don't just listen....u need to try it for yourself. last time i wanted to get brown because i kinda like the sound and it's in between gaming and typist. but when i tried blue, instantly fell in love with it.
imo it is best to buy and try. you go shop press useless one. you need take it back home/workplace to practically use it. at least 1 week then your finger will tell you whether you like the switch or not.
for people who never own any mkb before, im sure your finger wont tell you to get which switch because you never own them any of it before.
so like i said, buy first.well if u wanna tactile then buy the tactile. want linear just go linear. it is simple and not too hard to make decision.
I use straight ps2. never tried with a converter(dont even have one)
yours doesn't come with a converter?
anyway, got mine working, apparently if i hook my model m straight to my motherboard's ps2, it doesn't work. i bought a ps2 to usb converter and it works!
