where is ur location ? my main problem is that i feel that my Aego pairring with AV710 are the sound is very annoying although it is clear but when i listen to it i feel like very stress or chinese so called "fan". not very enjoyable experience. will ur DIY cable improve that or i should change a sound card instead ? thx boss

depend on if the dock is "open" able or it can fit the cable i am going to use or not.

i think that case u better change sound card.
else to use cable to tame that down. u have to spend really a lot on cable. it's not worth that improvement in this case.
cables makes the sound good only when your source is good enough. it is basicly transfering as pure as possible of the sound you are sending out from sound card.
which in this case. i think aego m stock cable is a benchmark. to test until u find a sound card u like. then u upgrade the cable. you will like it even more. changing cable is sort of enhance the sound. rather than use it to solve problems of the sound card.

bro can describe the difference of sound quality for the Van Den Hul M.C.D 102MK3 Hybrid Interconnect and Pcwork Customised Cable...i want to used for my portable gear; miezu m6+viper d2+yuin pk2...mostly listen to recent pop song loss mp3 and lossless audiophiles female song...are VDH cable easily to bend???coz my pouch for portable gear is quite small...now have to used stock viper mini to mini cable as my custom cable are not easy to bend...i will post my portable gear if got camera tomorrow...

Try searching for "Belden 1694A" on ebay, or get some from Blue Jeans Cable. The prices are very reasonable, and I am using one of them (I got mine from ebay). Since they don't sound very different from the glass optical cable I use (which is a big improvement over the standard plastic toslink), they probably aren't f***ing up my sound, much

if 840 is not detachable cable. then u have to send in the headphone for recable.
no problem for 2 meter extension for ksc75. it will be made by L-2B2AT cable of canare.

it's more refine. and much more accurate in term of tonality. my customised cable. is bright and detailed. but it's not well bodies as compared to VDH.
VDH. u get nice deep bass. thick vocal. and nice treble in together.
while my cable tend to be slightly thin compared to VDH D102.anyway. VDH is quite thick and harder to bend as compared to my customised cable.
however. my among all my customised cable. there's one with not bad sounding. much cheaper price. and extremely flexible as compared to VDH.

i can't do optical cable. as it require special clamp. which is too expensive for me.

u shall change from DAC--> aego . aego -> satelite won't change that much. but from DAC-> aego. u have several options. if u want what i suggest. i will suggest u get RCA-RCA 1 pair VDH interconnect plus Nuetrik profi plug and WBT silver soldering lead.

price will be around RM 550.

this one has that mic and guitar jack input (1/4 trs" stereo i think)...but the problem is that it's very leceh to plug in coz it's at the back of the pc...

could you do a simple breakout cable or box for this to make easy connection to the input? ...just 2 to 4 stereo input would be fine so that i dont really have to go to the back of the pc everytime i wanna plug in my mic or guitar jack...a sturdy one would be good so that i could secure connection better
