Aye, it always been kept on my head the whole time since I participated the Olympus event - "9x% DSLRs are kept at home during travel", I nodded my head.  nod.gif

Lately I have been attending some assignment with the Canon 1Dm3 without a strap, it felt like a dumb-bell walking around, and then I saw a person holding out a silver X-E1 trying to shoot a group photo, I went up and offer some help, it felt so much better holding that camera.

---

anyone attending the molest session at Paradigm mall later?
*
i'll be in the area, will they have x-t1 there? i check their FB page it says compact cameras and instax. hmmmm

I'm sure LR doesn't support X-T1 yet. Looks like I gotta stick to JPEG. sad.gif

don't worry, you'll be amazed by fuji's jpegs laugh.gif . even I who used to shoot RAW on my 60D now just uses my JPEGS SOOC haha. just some more important images I will do a little tweaking with the exposure/contrast/sharpening and crop but most of them are SOOC

Yes. And she likes the colours; some bridesmaid were poisoned by the camera, one of them even bought a new one for the wedding dinner. #poisonsuccess

I didn't know she was Miss Astro 2007 (nor lead actress of The Journey), my buddy only told me after the shoot.

There's something peculiar about her perfume, it's been in my nose for a couple of days.  sweat.gif
*
she looks quite pretty though haha. she was a senior in my high school last time I think, that's how I know her name. but I know her brother from there too tongue.gif. why la you go and sniff her until her perfume lingering in your nose now tongue.gif

QUOTE(Decky @ Mar 4 2014, 09:54 PM)
Managed to get my XT1 + 23mm 1.4 today from a forummer here at a really really low price. Slightly cheaper than fruitie's price which I thought I'd never get. So happy!
First impressions is that the EVF is great, but I so far can't tell how much better it is than the A7's EVF which I managed to try for awhile.

AF is definitely snappier than my XE1 pre-firmware, but right out of the box the AF struggled in areas with decent light when I'm trying to focus on something that is low contrast ):
Edit: And yeah, what DPreview said about the XT1's weakness is true, the fact that the ISO dial is on the left hand side makes it rather irritating if you want to switch ISO while shooting. You can't use one hand. It would be possible if the lock mechanism was not there, but it is ): For some reason, the lock mechanism for my shutter speed dial isn't working, so it's a big plus for me!
*
how much did you get it for? I've never tried the X-T1's evf yet but after playing with the A7 for awhile, I'd say it has the best EVF I've ever seen. compared to OMD something (I think), X-Pro1, x100/s, I would say fuji can't compete with sony's a7 evf..i really really liked the evf haha

I was quite busy lately, sorry for the late notice, just wanted to update you guys regarding the XT-1 hands-on I mentioned earlier.

Most of you guys are busy during weekdays so I'm guessing most of us haven't had the chance of playing with one yet.

The hands-on event is this Saturday evening at Petaling street, there will be new lenses and gadgets from Fujifilm as well, we might even have the Zeiss lenses for testing, those interested can PM me, seat is limited.

background: I am part of a small photography community in Google+ and we deal directly with Fujifilm. It's not really a public event but we have space so I thought maybe some of you guys would like to join. smile.gif
*
omg! I will be working there but from 12-3pm! after that moving on to the next location. So unlucky, haven't yet got my hands on one sad.gif. will there be the 56mm? brows.gif

There will be another roadshow for when the phone actually arrives here next month and we'll start selling it then laugh.gif

Been poisoning my friend on Fuji, now whats left is to let her test the camera, any idea where to get a demo unit on X-M1?
*
maybe can try Fotokem..I know they let u test without buying coz I go in to play with x100s all the time, but not sure if they have X-M1 (should have la). one of the worst shops I went to was Boeing Photo. high price + the assistant in the shop I went to in Paradigm Mall is so lansi when talking.
