I found that using front block damper installed at the inner holes (nearer to front gear/wheels) gives more stability that using the most front holes.
But it may not work for your setup because it looks like you're using the side extension wings to hold the tiang roller.

This is my MA setup for technical race. Already took off all the wheel bearings and roller bearings for maintenance though.
Simple and wasatiah.


- MA chassis + Avante Nero body
- front + rear AR carbon plate red lame
- rollers: double rollers front, 2 pairs of 9mm ball bearing rollers rear
- brakes: front under guard, rear AR brake, early braking + 1~1.5mm clearance
- dampers: 8x8x32 block front, side dampers, cylinder dampers rear in the 19mm roller hole, 6x6x32 block on the rear brake
- wheels: stock heat edge rims + tamiya super hard (not stargek's), AO metal bearings
- gear: 3.5:1 with ball bearing
- motor: atomic tuned

nothing much special. able to rank #2 in tech circuit time attack in Miri in December... ok ok lah.

Which one is you? Did you join the new year Semi Speed Race? I missed the race because I'm in Kuching at the moment.

But the last technical race time attack I manage to rank 2nd

I wonder how long are they going to open the semi-speed time attack. I haven't done a semi-speed car yet.

Small kaki lima Tamiya business here was selling it, but unfortunately sold out by yesterday when I wanted to grab summore.
So funny, a random kaki lima shop also got rare item.
They even still have the wide sliding damper GP2013 edition, HG carbon Japan Cup 2013 front and rear (price is about standard, RM40-ish each), 30th anniversary wheels, etc...

I suspect the tauke got his stocks from Indonesia distributor, because he also have Soda stuffs from Indo arrived together.

not sure about jakarta, but my cousin went to bandung recently and he said most tamiya sellers there are just kaki lima sellers or sell online. no big shops.
jakarta might have big shops, medan not sure.

our place here in Miri, membership fee is RM30 per year... plus 10~20% member discount if purchase parts or cars from them

the kaki lima shop over here (the one i told u guys before) got lotsa new old rare stocks

There is another brand, not sure the brand name. The wall is lower than Tamiya spec.... sucks! I think suitable only for Soda.
