Hi bro, thx for for your reply. My salesman not mention about the e-warranty at all. But, it is not 2 piece film, see my  pictures carefully.Crystalline 50 - 6mil, Crystalline 70 - 6mil, RE70 - 6mil and ST 70 - 5mil is actually one piece of film. After go through some survey, I think that dealer is selling fake 3M to me. I am very disappointed with my salesman and that 3M dealer. I wondering how many 3M dealer is also selling fake 3M product nowaday. Anybody can recommend V-kool, Huper Optilk, or Raytech to me. I am taking my Goft GTI next month. Must be good price and original product.Thx smile.gif

Back in year 2000, 3M already have their auto films. just that not so popular.
They do have security film, scotchshield, this products has been since day one.

About your picture, may be the dealer, using CR70 + other brand security films that what I can see from the picture. I would not rule out that they are still using genueing 3M film just that, they might be using security film which not from 3M.

If you doubt your film autentity, perhaps you can called up 3M customer service 170081 7080. whether the shop you purchase from is their autotheries dealers.

For your info, 3M film do have a marking on their film, expect for Nanos which this security film do not have marking on the film. Althought 3M mentioned about e-warranty but my installer still using normal card based. TO me still accetable due to I know the installer since in year 2000.

This 3M marking to ensure that film you are getting is from 3M.

Guys,

Any good tint recommendation for my Camry front screen only.
I have been using 3M for my car unfortunately I'm sick n tired of winding down my window whenever I have to pass along same tag lane.

I'm looking for front screen tint replacement with high uv rejection rate n smartag friendly as well as I'm only planning to change my front screen tint only.

Kindly advise.

Jack

Go tot get the latest smart tag which is black in color, when approaching toll, do it at a slow speed. The smart tag should be tilt at a 45 degree angel.
Meaning to say is not sited flat on the dash board.

The smart tag should place at the highest point of your dash board. It shouldnt hv any problem..on smart tag with 3M Crystalline.

Thanks Bernard. Mine is iridium silver. Black tint should be nice rite?

What do you think about 3m nano 40s?
*
3M nano is the latest security & solar film 2 in 1 combination.

If you wanted black then go for the Color Stable, you will be satisfied with its black color.

But dun expect the heat rejected on par with Crystalline or 3M Nano

Hi guys, thought of tinting my new ride...
But I'm currently stuck whether should I go for 3M+Security Film or Llumar..
Budget wise I think both are about the same..
Any advise  smile.gif

PErhaps you can try 3M Crystalline for FWS and RWS.

For the side, you can opt for 3M Nano Security film.

With this price can get high end V-Kool already  biggrin.gif

Quoted from local 3M tint shop
Front cr60 side scotchshield cr40 back cr40 best price i can give 3300

Rm3.3k wah.... for Honda City doh.gif

RM 3.3k is the list price for 3M films.

CR is crystalline top of the range from 3M.
Scotchshield is the security film

Hope that helps. You are getting good quality films thus do come with a price.

Else you can opt for FX HP film or color stable from 3M. If the crystalline series is over your budget. of coz dun expect you have the same amount of heat rejection from crystalline series.

Go for Crystalline 50 for all the window including front.

or Crystalline 50 front the rest Crystalline 40.

If u choose non of the above sure u complaint hot.

I have tried Crystalline 70 /60 for front Windscreen. Now I settle with Crystalline 50.

I'm not sure if anyone will be able to answer this.

I have 3M Crystalline CR40 all around my car except FWS. Right now I think the rear passenger side is not dark enough and plan to apply another layer just to make it darker / lower VLT. Anyone know if this is a good approach? Any cons?
*
You can try that, perhaps add another lawyer of CS20. for your rear windows.
