Family car's windscreen tint has some blurryness after 9 years of use. The side and rear window ones are still fine.

Looking to get VKool C30 for windscreen only after reading some comments here. Any recommendations to install around Klang valley?

Most car tint shops have a reputation of being untrustworthy, makes it difficult for me to just step in to any neighborhood shop to get it fixed.

Bro, u only want vkool? It may have smart tag issues from other comments.

Otherwise, u may want to try Llumar PIPL 35 for your fws. Did mine at Sg Besi Llumar and the workmanship is perfect. All my family and friends car do there.

Smart tag got stolen a few months ago, now on RFID/TnG so no issues there.

Looking to get max heat rejection, thanks for the recommendation! Will look into it

Oh I see. Sure! GPS and condo access card tried and tested, also no issues.
Feel free to check and survey.

Vorra i think is house brand... i went to the shop before, they claim is nano sputter film, which is better than nano ceramic film. better than 3M and those famous brand.
*
Price doesn't seem to be house brand range. Might as well go for reputable and trusted brand.

Those tints that affect smart tag and condo parking scan, just consider the hassle and if the perceived heat rejection is worth it.

If frequently use smart tag/RFID card, you may one day wonder why you had to go through the hassle. Penny wise pound foolish

Hi guys. If you had to choose between VKool and Llumar, which would you go for? Want  security tint, as well as doesn’t affect smart-tag and potentially RFID on fws. Got such specs available, you think?
*
Llumar if you don't want problem with RFID and smart tag issue
Sat in my friend's car with VKool, RFID: no, smart-tag: no, GPS: ok

go for high TSER for fws. most of the heat comes in from there. llumar most value for money + 6mil thickness at sides for security

Hi,

Looking to get a mini SUV tinted.

1) Needs to be signal issue free (do not want hole in tint for smarttag
2) UV light, heat rejection
3) Some sort of security (ok if at expense of some of no2)

Budget is 3k - is this something doable?
*
Hi, can try Llumar - did mine at Sg Besi Premium shop. 3k i think you can also get coating included.

Hi , my car dealer quote me llumar tcp 6 + 9h ceramic coating on bmw 4 series for 2800. Is it ok?
*
That's a good deal. How many layers of coating?
My colleague's 5 series also costed her 3.5k but she had ppf installed on headlamps and door handles too

Hi guys,

I have received some pretty decent deals from dog999. But I'm still contemplating between Hamel and 3M while waiting for CMCO to be over.

I've used Llumar and 3M previously and they are pretty solid and last a long time. As of now, I am quite interested in Hamel's Royal series for its specs and feature as some users claim it is better than 3M, but there seems to be mixed reviews for their tints. On the other hand, I could also just go for 3M's Crystalline for the entire car, which is most likely the safest choice in terms of long lasting tints due to it being tried and tested.

Would be great to receive some feedback from users who have used Hamel for several years. Thank you.

Since you used Llumar and 3M with no issues, better to stick with tried and tested ones.

Hello bro and sis.

I got quote from 2 Tinting shop

One is 3m authorize dealer
3.5k for crystaline , and 300 extra for schotch shield crystaline

One is from llumar tint, but they carry 3m also
2.5k for crystaline and 300 extra for schotch shield

The 2.5k 1 says will issue an ewarranty as legitimate
I mean waa 1k different. I'm going for the 2.5k installer la
But will it be fake?
*
which kedai 2.5k? if ada ewarranty direct from 3m then should be legit
