QUOTE(gordonchin @ Aug 12 2019, 01:36 PM) Family car's windscreen tint has some blurryness after 9 years of use. The side and rear window ones are still fine. Bro, u only want vkool? It may have smart tag issues from other comments.Looking to get VKool C30 for windscreen only after reading some comments here. Any recommendations to install around Klang valley? Most car tint shops have a reputation of being untrustworthy, makes it difficult for me to just step in to any neighborhood shop to get it fixed. Otherwise, u may want to try Llumar PIPL 35 for your fws. Did mine at Sg Besi Llumar and the workmanship is perfect. All my family and friends car do there. |

QUOTE(ShowMeTheMane @ Oct 1 2019, 10:28 PM) Vorra i think is house brand... i went to the shop before, they claim is nano sputter film, which is better than nano ceramic film. better than 3M and those famous brand. Price doesn't seem to be house brand range. Might as well go for reputable and trusted brand. |

Those tints that affect smart tag and condo parking scan, just consider the hassle and if the perceived heat rejection is worth it.
If frequently use smart tag/RFID card, you may one day wonder why you had to go through the hassle. Penny wise pound foolish |

QUOTE(HalseyFrangipane @ Oct 22 2020, 05:21 AM) Hi guys, Since you used Llumar and 3M with no issues, better to stick with tried and tested ones.I have received some pretty decent deals from dog999. But I'm still contemplating between Hamel and 3M while waiting for CMCO to be over. I've used Llumar and 3M previously and they are pretty solid and last a long time. As of now, I am quite interested in Hamel's Royal series for its specs and feature as some users claim it is better than 3M, but there seems to be mixed reviews for their tints. On the other hand, I could also just go for 3M's Crystalline for the entire car, which is most likely the safest choice in terms of long lasting tints due to it being tried and tested. Would be great to receive some feedback from users who have used Hamel for several years. Thank you. |
