5 years ago I tinted my car with Huper Optik. Combination is Sech 60 for front windscreen and C40 for all other windscreens (side front, side rear and rear). At that time when I tinted my car 5 years ago, the JPJ law was 70% VLT for front windscreen and 50% VLT for all other windscreens.
About 2 or 3 years ago, the new JPJ law was revised to 70% VLT for front windscreen, 50% VLT for side front and 30% VLT for rear front and rear windscreens.

If the VLT for C30 is about 30%, I would recommend to go with C30 for side rear and rear windscreens. Personally I feel the car is still quite hot with C40. If you put C30 for side rear and rear windscreens, I suspect the car will be cooler. Since the new JPJ regulations now permit 30% VLT for side rear and rear windscreens, you now can consider darker shade of tint for the side rears and rears.

Complete installation with black leather as well

in this case your roadtax will be very dark and hard to see.... jpj/police allow this?

I think 40% VLT for windscreen is pushing your luck a little bit.
You might want to go 30% VLT all around but maintain 70% for windscreen as you can always wind down your front windows during road block and bluff your way out

surprised many cars on the road have 30-40% vlt for windscreen

Hi guys, I have two quotations for my sedan car, please see which is better. Regardless of the side windows and rear window, I have decided to go with V-Kool Elite for the front windscreen (RM950 for FWS only).

Option 1 (Package):
Front Windscreen  V-Kool Elite
Side Windows        REM 40 Safety
Rear window          REM 40

Price:  RM1,800
Option 2:
Front Windscreen   V-Kool Elite (RM950)
Side Windows       Huper Optik HS40 6mil
Rear window          Huper Optik C30  (RM1.4k)

Price: RM2,350

My question is, which is better? REM 40 Safety, or HO HS40?

REM40 Safety will cost less definitely, but their TSER are not that much different at 52% or 53%. I wonder if the extra RM550 is justified with the HO HS40? Please advise, thanks!

HP HS40 is facing off already. heat rejection very bad too

nowadays all going for all round ho c30 instead. windscreen you can go for vkool elite. the best.

I got a pretty similar quotation for C30 all around for RM1.4k. Do you think it's better than REM40 Safety for side and rear window?

C30 does not have security feature though?

what car is it?

c30 is not security

1.4k is cheap

This is for Toyota Altezza.

1.4k is for side windows and rear window, excluding front windscreen.
As I said, I will still stick with V-Kool Elite for front windscreen.

Yeah my question is, would C30 all around worth the price for its 63% TSER, plus it is not security film like REM40 Safety?
*
not sure but i see many going for c30 now after loke siew tony allow back unlimited
c40 really lousy in hear rejection

i think safety film is not really needed yaa but for fron widscreen, elite vkool 70 is too clear.... many just put c30 even for windscreen.

for front windscreen. most of us have gone for low vlt bcse cANNOT stand the heart and out Anton Loke does not know this issue on Msia weather.

i have seen some cars tint vlt 20 for windscreen.

if we go for low vlt, can we cut a hole for the road tax and car stickers side so it will be more visible to jpj n polis?
