QUOTE(RicoT @ Jan 18 2017, 03:21 PM) I did use the Garmin significantly before Waze pops up and I have had vkool elite (whole car) in one of my cars. To catch the GPS signal for the VERY first time, I remember i have to hold the Garmin outside the windows for few mins .. but since then, I didn't have to do it anymore and it was be able to get the signal everytime i needed to use it. Vk elite also has no problem on Smarttag.. The latest Vkool Elite (vk 70?) installation in one of my family car was just about 1 year ago. Just to share. |

QUOTE(HMMaster @ Jan 18 2017, 11:45 AM) If I'm not mistaken, the Smart Tag is using infrared technology. With the high rejection on the infrared ray, it may affect the Smart Tag operation. +1vkool elite (vkool 70) IRR is 94%.. if adding up the original windscreen IRR (if any) doesn't get you 100% or close to 100% we shouldn't have problem on Smart tag I believe. |

QUOTE(audio technica @ Aug 13 2024, 06:33 PM) Quite a meh experience with Llumar too. 2 cars came OEM with it and 1 car done paid tint at Llumar. All 3 also panas. The Llumar series we get here is different to the Llumar in US such as the FormulaOne Stratos and FormulaOne Pinnacle. Llumar is always lowest grade if you accept new car offer to tint for you, it is a deal between the car dealer and Llumar which i heard it is not using the standard Llumar range, hence most are crap. Learnt from mistake 15 years ago and i never wanted to have any 'Tint offer' when i intend to buy a new car. |
