QUOTE(vvip @ Oct 4 2018, 10:29 AM) any idea where to get the device to scan the TSER, IRR etc? my car still damn hot under hot sun after tinted with 3M... How to know if the tint is genuine or not? Im using crystalline 50 for front. I noticed some heat coming from front, whereas my side windows seems to be just fine (side using crystalline scotchschield 40). So whenever im driving, often i can feel the heat right onto my face. Anther funny thing is that, everywhere i go, ppl would say 3m cannot pass thru smart tag. And after a month, i just realize my car can pass through smart tag despite having crystalline (all this while i put my smart tag at the opening non tinted side of the windshield). Im using the old big white color smart tag BTW.

QUOTE(mushigen @ Oct 16 2018, 04:18 PM) Do the water droplet test. The water droplets will have reddish hue. I find the fws reddish water droplets are less obvious, presumably due to the angle of the fws and higher VLT. Thanks for the feedbacks. So i guess it is normal for 3M crystalline to feel such heat from the FWS. Im quite tall, so my distance from FWS is quite far when im driving. Hmm.. i didnt experience this on my other car using other brand of tint. Anyway, i agreed with you that the car cool down quite fast when parked under the hot sun.
