Do the side windows' tint take twice as long for it to cure compared to the front and back windscreens?

Yes, because FWS and BWS normally is 2Mil film and curing period is about 2-3weeks
For side, depends on the thickness of the film and normally 4Mil will take about 1-2 month to cure.

Thanks for the input.

On the other hand, are the white spots at the sides curable?

Yes, we call it as shampoo mark. Normally it appear on Safety Film
This is because shampoo chemical reaction with the film adhesive (glue)

It might take up to 3 months for all the shampoo mark disappear depends on the weather and thickness of the film.
If the shampoo mark still there after 6 months, you can go back to shop and ask for warranty claim.

Have been using Huper Optik for past few months and sadly, I'm not really impressed with its heat rejection especially the front (Sech60) and the sides (C50-4mil). Somehow, my other car's Wingard Royale performs better especially during scorching day.

How much does tint shop charge to remove existing tint from window? Is it advisable to remove the rear window?

Normally we charge RM100-200 depends on the size of the car.
The rear not advisable to remove due to the demister line might peel off during removal.
What is your purpose to remove the tint?
*
OK. Thanks. Perhaps, I'll just remove front and sides only.

Currently, mine isn't working well. Could feel the heat during sunny day.

Having thoughts of changing my current tint.

Since it is risky to remove the tint at back window, is it possible to leave it and do the front windscreen and side windows?

And would they charge cheaper or same price as installing all sides?

Any one use huper optik tint here?
Some said better than 3M?
Not sure want to use 3M or huper optik tint for my new ride~
*
Used Huper Optik but not 3M.

Huper Optik's heat rejection performance tends to deteriorate over the years. I could feel the heat in year 3 onwards.
