QUOTE(wyshin88 @ Jun 26 2018, 09:58 AM) Hi, if just looking at the spec above, TSER is a more accurate way in judging the heat rejection. For a "dark" tint (38%VLT), usually can achieve above 60%TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejection), however the above Llumar tint can only achieve 58%. Take for example VKool 30 VKool 30 TSER is 66% Thanks for the info! As for the unlimited film replacement option that the installer is giving you, as a car owner I wouldn't want that as removing the tint on the back windscreen will damage the demister, and even the front windscreen when you remove a tint, it will rip off the side black frame making it looks ugly. Side windows are still okay but after removal, needs to do proper cleaning to remove the existing tint glue. Ya it looks like the V-Kool has a better feature tint. I'm gonna choose a 38% VLT tint for my car, so having an option to be covered for saman JPJ & replacement of film (if anything happen) is a good one. I'm not sure whether other tint manufacturer offer the same options for their VLT 30+% tint. |

QUOTE(Delta09 @ Jul 4 2018, 02:41 PM) http://www.horus-asia.com/automotive/auto_series.php Never heard of this brand before.I've never used Raytech, Llumar, 3M, V-Kool or the other brands out there so I can't say if Horus is better. Currently have this installed for the wife's car & I'm happy with it. Gonna install it for my car when it arrives. Anyone else here have tried this brand? The film is from where? US made? What about the price range? |

I just want to share my opinion & ask..
There are so many window film brand out there.. The ones that I know (correct me if I'm wrong) US/Europe made film: 3M, V-Kool, HuperOptik, Llumar, Raytech, Haverkamp (just recently know this brand) Other brands that I'm not sure from where they are. I think most of them from China, Korea (again correct me if i'm wrong): - Lavish - Hamel - SolarGard - Agard - M-Pro - RhinePro - And other OEM brands It is well known that US/Europe made window film is the best & most reliable as they've been in the business for years and for me it is justifiable for the price to be higher. They are known for their quality product + reliability. But I cant understand why do all these OEM brands or brands from China/Korea are offering tints with price of equivalent or sometimes more pricey than the tints made from US? Some of them are even offering tints with price of 2K-3K & I dont understand why OEM tints are also so pricey. Thoughts on this? This post has been edited by dauf87: Aug 7 2018, 02:03 PM |

QUOTE(azrisyam @ Aug 22 2018, 09:14 AM) Hello all .. is there anyone with Huper Optik tinted experience here? I'm about to get a ceramic coating for my car with Ceramic Pro @ Glenmarie, but it seems that they also offering extra packages with Huper Optik tint and so on .. for example the silver package, the normal coating price without discount is RM2700, but if I choose the silver package with Huper Optik tint and Magnus Pro film for headlamps, door handles etc, the price will be RM5000 .. Moreover, they are also offering 10% discount for this package and another 10% discount if the car is still new (still within 30 days after registration date).. From my personal experience, I can say Huper Optik is a very reliable & quality window film. So the final price for me is: Normal Silver Package: RM2700 - 10% - 10% = RM2160 Silver with extra package: RM5000 - 10% - 10% = RM4000 Tint specs are as follows: Front WS: C70 Side and rear: C50 So my question is whether the Huper Optik is a good choice for heat rejection and smart tag user friendly. It is huge sum of money so I must make it worthy for me. Been using the combo C70+C50 for almost 4 years now and had no issues with it. Smart tag also no issue. Just make sure you get the original warranty card from Huper Optik when u do the tint. |
