Hi everyone,
basically I already done the tinted at AGARD Puchong.
But since my car got issue, need to go for inspection. So of course I need AGARD to provide me a cert or letter that showing currently I am using 696 model, which the transmission light is pass.
But unfortunately they not going to give me this, ask me come back and stick back (pay labour fees)
Please advise is there any tinted shop can provide this kind of advise?
*note: I saw jpj website show car with tinted can go for inspection, and if the tinted is pass, no need tear off tinted.
And I do remember AIRCOOL provide letter or certificate, anyone has it?

QUOTE(Lord Gitsy @ Feb 18 2016, 11:48 PM) Hi bro, for your info, Puspakom inspection is a bit different from JPJ inspection. Normally, Puspakom require empty window (no tint) during inspection. Make sure your window is no tinted before going for Puspakom inspection. Not matter what brand of tinted they will tear off the tinted. Normally tinted shop will not cover warranty for this Puspakom case too. Thanks I go to Puspakom website and check with their officer already, can tint and the tint wont be removed if within the requirement. http://www.puspakom.com.my/en/inspections-...ion-points.htmlrefer back to tinted glass inspection

QUOTE(lonely143 @ Feb 19 2016, 12:07 PM) Basically JPJ or PUSPAKOM never approved any BRAND tint for the car. Therefore looking for the CERTIFICATE is useless and most of the TINT SHOP is selling based on the current ruling which is 70% 50% 30% However, you can check your current windows VLT percentage with a tools called "TINT METER INSPECTOR". If the percentage above the current ruling means your tint is JPJ compliance and no need to tear off. I think you misunderstand my meaning. I was request a cert/letter showing which model I used to tinted my car and the visibility. not approve tint for the car. approve or not is another matter. legal or not still another matter.

QUOTE(lonely143 @ Feb 19 2016, 06:29 PM) There is no point request or showing the PUSPAKOM officer whatever certificate/letter of the product details. The final test will be on your glass + tint. Extra advice, if you let runner do the job and be ready to remove all your film. I could not find any details for the product that you mentioned. Perhaps you can let me know your car model and the VLT of the tint itself so I can roughly estimate which side will pass the inspection. At least the officer wont simply tear if off without checking through device. but the problem is my window should be pass after tinted. I just concern they wont listen to us then bla bla bla and act like boss, alot of my friend having bad experience which they dont even want to listen, just tear it off. i am using AGARD 695 series on vios.
