Hi,

I got these option for tinting;

Llumar
RM700 - IRR 93% - TSER 64%.
It is from a Llumar shop. Must be original right?

Care Gard (local brand)
RM700 - IRR 96% - TSER 58%

RhinePro SetiaAlam (but only this branch available for this package)
RM500 - IRR 95% - TSER 55%

Which should I choose?

Hi, for the IRR, did they mention the reject percentage was on which waveform length? Paper data not able to tell how good the film, please go for real test.

For the tinted film, need consider VLT, film itself absorption, internal and external rejection from the film self absorption and so on. Is very complicated methodology to use to define the film quality via paper value. It do affect from your car window thickness and so on.

The simple way was test under heat box. Good film will not be cheap. But cheap film does not mean it can’t use.

If you very particular about the film can protect from skin cancer, market do have, but no cheap.

Personally think it still have to balance on the Budget. Good luck to you bro. If you at JB, come and visit, will share more info with you, not force buying😅.

Thanks for your reply.
As for the VLT, I thought we need to follow JPJ specs.
I am just looking for a good one where it has at least 90% IRR and as high as possible TSER for around RM500-600.
