This seems to be the international guideline for vehicle glass: http://www.unece.org/fileadmin/DAM/trans/m...egs/R043r3e.pdf

ECOTINT Penang warranty is difficult. Front windscreen kena PUSPAKOM tear off, so I called them up for warranty. Denied... saying, I quote "How I know the one that kena tear off is our product?"

It's ok, I thought, malas want to layan this people...

Now use 2V Tint.

Hi bro, for your information, Puspakom is not allowed tinted on window when doing inspection. No matter what brand of tints also will being tear off. Normally we do not offer warranty for Puspakom case too smile.gif

It is covered. They chose not to replace it.
If the tint and glass meets VLT of 75%, it can stay on. Unfortunately, most windscreen glass are pre-tinted, making the combination lower VLT than 75% so kena tear off.
