So, If you buy a brand new car, spend RM3000 on top range tint, when come time to sell, you will need to throw away the tint before the new owner gets the car.

Tint resellers in Malaysia wont tell you that PUSPAKOM will almost certain fail you if you put 70%, 50% and 30% tint on your car.

That's because the glass for your car from factory is not 100% clear, around 10-30% tinted. Which means, even if you tint 70% VLT for the front windshield, you are getting around 50% VLT, and PUSPAKOM will fail you, and tear off your tint.

Hi bois, just received my car today and planning to get a new tint ASAP. Been scrolling through the thread but not enough time to understand every single of it. Can I get suggestion for an Outlander 2018? Alrd came with factory fitted security tinted - not sure about the specs but I believe it's Lumar brand. So, I was thinking to add 1 more layer to it.

Mainly to add :

Heat rejection
Darker tint - so ppl can't really inside. Don't bother about JPJ or roadblocks. ( But somehow there's a brand that covers summon iinm right?)

Is it possible if I use different dark % for front sides and rear sides? EG : rear sides want darker than front so can easily see side mirrors. Can you guys recommend me good, cheapest brand? Not lowballing, but if I can get a good RMxxx worth of tinted instead of RMxxxx, why not I go for better price, right?

Just a quick one, for a sedan, what is the best IR rejection that I can get for a reasonable price? Can recommend the shop, brand and model of the tint?

Budget should be below RM2k, 1k is preferable though. Do I need to remove my old tints? The factory and add-on tint are attached

Does anyone have experience with the local brand HyperGard? 5 year warranty and the solar rejection seems a bit high, 95% front 80% all other sides. Supposedly JPJ compliant. RM1.7k

Their QC seems tempting but when enquired the origin manufacturer of their film, one says Korea, another says USA, later say don't know... Doubt anyone here did installed can give a review

TSER 56% is for which vlt?70,50,30?

You got it for RM 1399? Did they charge you to remove the old tint? They wanted to charge me RM80 and refused to waive it. Grrr...

I asked for the TSER at the setia alam branch but they said is somewhere between 52 to 56%. If all sides 56%, i think is better than haverkamp...

Seems unlikely that all sides will have same TSER even though different VLT.

Unfortunately their website doesn't give enough details specs. Only saw this:
