I think everybody know the front windscreen the VLT must above 70% and VLT for the side and the back should above 50% in order to compliant with JPJ rules. Centurion 4mil VLT58% is only apply for the side, should have not problem at all. In Centurion 4mil package, the front will be Raytech Ultra 70. Indeed, most of the glass is not 100% clear, so we need higher VLT film to apply on the glass to make sure it is still compliant with JPJ.

Few days back I tinted my whole car & requested my rear windows to be tinted with Vkool 40.

When I got the receipt, the other tints were written as Vkool Auto Film, but for Vkool 40 it was stated as Vkool Super 40 Film.
I ask the person why is it not Auto Film like the others, but he told me it's the same & there's no security film on the whole car as I didn't want any security tint.
I didn't check the car or ask further since he seem quite sincere about it.

Later on when my bro check my car, he asked me why this one particular rear window is put with the sticker "V Safety" compared to the other windows "V-Kool". My heart sank as I paid a huge amount for the car tint.

Wanna ask, do those little stickers that they stick justify what film they put on? Was I being cheated or it's normal?

We will not rip you off in terms of quality.
Only the price rip you off because you getting high grade film.
If you call our dealer, you will get a lot of V-Kool mix with house brand.

i got the e warranty and the installer is authorized dealer.
but then all 3m film (crystalline and non crystalline series) also comes with watermark. therefore i would like to double confirm whether the tint is as stated in the e warranty card.

How do we know they installed the film we wanted?

I did mine on SUV for RM2600, with front screen crystalline70, side scotchshield crystalline. Civic should be cheaper I guess. Note that scotchshield and schotchshield scrystalline is different.

Just tinted my car with Raytech MX for all sides + Raytech Ultra 70 for front windshield.
So far got problems with Waze where signal very hard to get. Any sifus got ideas how to overcome this problem?

Guys, my new car is installed with vcool tint except the front and recently Raya promo i go install some rm80 tint (i know i cheapskate) for the front with 50% rating

So far at morning time really less heat and no vision problem. But problem is at raining heavily time + night time. Really cannot see mtfk hell. Last time before tint still ok. It is common tint problem or cheap tint problem ?

Will higher irr rejection rating will cause problem for smart tag and GPS signal?

But too bad there is no front windscreen tint that offer high irr and high TSER at the same time

Are there any car tint distributors to recommend in Labuan? seems like the big brands such 3M and Vkool do not operate there.

is it worth it to get cheaper variants or lesser known brands if i don't have better alternatives? Or better to drive to Kota Kinabalu to get a proper one done

would like to share my experience with Haverkamp, given I havent seen anyone posting their feedback on this new brand.

I went to tint my new Persona with the Haveerkamp ceramic tint yesterday at their Bandar Sunway branch. I arrivved around 12:30pm, and drove away around 4:30pm

Whilst there, was attended by their Head of Tint, Sam. He was very professional and patient. First removed my stock tint come preinstall in premium spec persona, in the process showed me how the stock tint has alreaded faded in color even I just had my car for 1 month.

Then the installation of the new tint, which went on very smoothly. Workmanship was great, no bubbles were visible so far.

After the installation. I drove away in the scorching hot sun around 4:30pm, can straightaway felt the tint is doing it work by reducing the heat into the cabin. Aircond no longer need full blast.

Just for comparison, my previous car was on 3M Crystalline 70, the Haverkamp tint I installed felt quote comparable in performance to 3M Crystalline. Again this is just my personal subjective opinion, your milage might differ.

All in all, very happy with the tint performance, and very satisfied with Sam workmanship.
