Hm...bad workmanship. Actually i did bought tinting from Groupon once(around RM168), then on the spot i top up around RM300 for a better tinting. Overall spend less than Rm500 after 6 years the tint is still good.

let say if, as a walk-in customer to tinting shop...will they charge me higher than RM500?

would like to share my experience with Haverkamp, given I havent seen anyone posting their feedback on this new brand.

I went to tint my new Persona with the Haveerkamp ceramic tint yesterday at their Bandar Sunway branch. I arrivved around 12:30pm, and drove away around 4:30pm

Whilst there, was attended by their Head of Tint, Sam. He was very professional and patient. First removed my stock tint come preinstall in premium spec persona, in the process showed me how the stock tint has alreaded faded in color even I just had my car for 1 month.

Then the installation of the new tint, which went on very smoothly. Workmanship was great, no bubbles were visible so far.

After the installation. I drove away in the scorching hot sun around 4:30pm, can straightaway felt the tint is doing it work by reducing the heat into the cabin. Aircond no longer need full blast.

Just for comparison, my previous car was on 3M Crystalline 70, the Haverkamp tint I installed felt quote comparable in performance to 3M Crystalline. Again this is just my personal subjective opinion, your milage might differ.

All in all, very happy with the tint performance, and very satisfied with Sam workmanship.

May I know what's the different value of heat rejection between 3M Crystaline and Llumar D6?

60 is jpj compliance. Ya however only 60 have promotion the rest is 3.7k. take note 3m does not have security film

After checking the specs I see what you mean by the above.

Raytech Ultra 70 (for windscreen), VLT 73%, TSER 58%
Huper Ceramic 60 (for windscreen), VLT 60%, TSER 42%

Looking at TSER, in theory the Raytech should be much cooler than Ceramic 60, even though the VLT is higher. But in practice you feel the Ceramic 60 performs better. Hmmm.....

Lord Gitsy you got any comment on this?

I already mention it in my previous post and learned my lesson. The specs are on paper only. Any TOM DICK AND HARRY can put whatever VLT and TSER they like. And I ate the BS. Simple.

There is no governing body to regulate the tint specification sheet. I want to get more business so I just hantam higher VLT la, who's going to tangkap me for wrong specification?

Hi. I think u are only read his comment and we have replied to that statement. And also the following comment we replied until now which explained the main things that affect the performance of window film. Different VLT % (Visible Light Transmittance)  and different of IRR % (Infrared red rejection)  can affect significantly in performance. You can read thoroughly 

The video is a guideline for consumer to chose Genuine brand products. It's not even for our products only and workable in other Genuine brands too. You can have your own way to judge the product, just make sure you request the meter testing before purchase. Raytech provides meter testing in the shop too.
