i have had v kool elite on my car windscreen torn by them. Well i talked to the head of puspakom of that branch. He said actually u can have tinting but because in the market there are not many tinting with vlt that high that is why almost all windscreen kena torn. U need almost 90% vlt tint to pass the 70% rule windscreen to be safe. Any 90% vlt tint. Or to play safe what is the highest vlt tint in malaysia with certain uv or heat rejection tint. I gonna take that for my windscreen

recently replace front windscreen due to stones from lorry at highway. looking to tint the windscreen. can i put security tint at the front windscreen? dont want another crake if hit by stones.

huper optik select75 is better than ceramic70?

can i know why it is advisable to go for SECH 60?

Looking at the specs in the website:-

SECH 60 - VLT 59% IRR 83% TSER 54%
SELECT 75 - VLT 73% IRR 93% TSER 53%
CERAMIC 70 - VLT 71% IRR91% TSER 47%

specs shows that TSER is highest. im not sure how much this 1% difference between the sech60 vs select75. but select75 have highest VLT which is not dark compare to sech60.

At the same time, I am looking new tinted to cover front windscreen and driver / passenger side only. Do you happen to know that tinted shop still charge labor if I get new tinted from them?

VKool elite vk70 still having the issue with smarttag & gps today? or it has been resolved?

Vkool elite vk70 + REM40 5mil. Is it good combination? Or should I opt for LLumar crystal 6? Raytech FX?

When I see thru my windows from certain angle, the image see from the window will become blur as you can see some straight line on the tinted film.

hi ws tint for alphard anh20 for 3m crystalline 60 is around rm800 plus while Vkool elite 70 is around rm1100 all, is this the correct market price? also how does crystalline fare against vkool elite? worth the extra. thanks

Hi, just wanna ask if any Huper Optik users who experience very obvious rainbow effect under indoor parking lighting? When outdoor, it is ok though...

I walk through the entire parking floors in my condo, none of the tinted windows have the rainbow effect as bad as mine.

Either u go compliant or none. Compliant ones feels like no tint at all. C40  all round + c60 was my best combo all time.

Huper tint will become brighter as years pass.

if u go all c60 will still feel skin burning sensation if u don't have high uv on original glass like perodua cars

My old Honda civic fd front windscreen already default 30 vlt, when puspakom did b5 without tint just barely pass 71% for front, 74% side  yet c60 still gives me a burning sensation
maybe I should apply oku for sensitive skin

I'm planning to tint my car. this is my first time doing this so please bare with me. My requirements are:

1. As transparent as possible (i dont want any dark tint)
2. High heat rejection
3. Tint has to be security film as well.

From what i have gathered in this thread, most recommendations are pointing me towards 3m crystalline 70 and raytech. given that it's a one-off purchase, i dont mind spending a bit on this. any advice? Thanks!
