Thanks.

I was quoted the following:

3M Tint package start with RM799
UV 99%
IR 60%
VLT 40%

3M crytalline 60 series (Promotion Item while stock last)@RM1900
UV 99%
IR 97%
VLT 60%

Is crystalline 60 series good..? Too much branding name.
makes me confuse...
*
The 799.. is probably ebony 40.. which is not even listed on 3M website....

Cr 60 for 1900... Well if you want "JPJ compliance" fully clear window then ok.

For me I'd go for 60 front 40 side 40 rear, take some risk, but got privacy and definitely better heat resistance, it costs the same anyway.

They tell you UV99 IR High.. but how about TSER? The Ray tech guy will tell you how many types heat transfer.. but I can tell you, VLT 60 definitely won't be cooler than VLT40, under same brand.

Quite good deal.

Recommend C60 for front as 70 is very bad in heat rejection and it will overall affect the cooling abilities since the heat keeps coming in from the front. It's quite glaring too in a hot afternoon.

Still better than a 10 year warranty tint

Even better if sech60

I have been using raytech since 10 days ago. Found out that small bubbles(foreign particles?) coming out in certain area, almost unnoticeable but if looked carefully pretty annoying lah. Could I get warranty claim? I am afraid if these bubbles are considered within specification limit.

Depends.. one or two is normal... Give it a week or two

Hi bro, I cannot find the Alex Chuk's posts. Someone deleted his posts in this thread ??  hmm.gif

Same thing we discussed with another forumer last time, HO CERAMIC 40 is not compliance with JPJ rules if install on front windscreen and front side windows.

Raytech products are certified by TUV laboratory test. Brothers and sisters here can find the our lab report in this thread which posted by someone before.

We hope Alex Chuk can bring his car to our shop to have solar meter testing. We would like to meet him face to face and will solve the thing for him smile.gif

Lord gitsy although raytech is not my first choice but that guy is totally BS, he is the owner of the shop and came to defame only. Lyn need to do something

Yea, C50 is cheaper, maybe they just judge the price based on the heat rejection. And yes, all of my friends said they have never been kacau by JPJ before also, as long as JPJ people can see your face from the front windscreen.

C30 will be too much or not? brows.gif

hi all sifu,

been to a shop and owner recommend nova or nano tint from USA...

price slightly cheaper than big brand by ard RM500-600

he let me test HO tint and nova or nano under heat lamp....it seems the one he recommend is better in terms of heat rejection.

what are the odds? advise pls

In this world there are things that are good and cheap at same time? Think about it
