This post kena reported, lol.
So pls let me re-answer so that Mr. Snowflake feels better.

There are plenty of tint job costing <RM400. You can walk in any shop to ask.
Don't be foolish to pay > RM1500 for a tint job, because the films are all the same and you are just paying for the brand.
These cheap tint films do not discolour, do not peel off, do not cause orange peel effect, and they last as long, if not longer than those expensive films. So, you need not worry about poor driving visibility when the other tint films start to spoil.
Also, these cheap films really have good IRR.

This just think the opposite way will do.
Sometimes consumer have limited budget so they opt for lower end and
they tend to not complain much compare to the branded/good which consumer pay thosand to install

WTA:
I have 2 layers of tint now,
I would like to remove only the 2nd layer tint, which is the outer tint only.
Is it doable?

I plan to remove the 2nd layer tint then reinstall a darker 2nd-layer tint.

Aiming for 95% darkness, 5% VLT drool.gif
*
Not possible because when you remove the 2nd layer, it will come together with the 1st layer

The only option is to add another layer or remove both layer then add another layer

Prevé.
My wife said, can feel the heat drive along the highway.
Is it due to no black 10" tint?
*
The black tint is just to reduce the glare on the top.
When driving along the highway, the heat is more compare driving in the city
because there is no shading as the heat is keep building up.

However, the tint performance is also important

Hi guy, quick question.. My car ald tinted wit Raytech bt somehow i still feel kinda hot during noon time drive. If I apply another layer of tint (those cheap one) will it help on heat rejection ?
*
It might help a little bit but it has many disadvantages such as

1. Void warranty
2. Darker mean non JPJ compliance

Go back to the original installer for better advice

Not discolor, but shrunk at all four sides. Then you see it is wavy and vision become not clear.
*
The absorption rate of the film very high therefore the problem you mentioned is adhesive failure
Go back for warranty claim while you still entitle

It's physics. But I suppose there's a difference in clarity between good films and cap ayam for the same darkness.
*
Everything must be balance, its just like you want JPJ compliance but darkness limit below the JPJ compliance

You cant can use both diesel and petrol on your car right?

Hi, anyone here has any information/experience using a tinting brand called Vessolar? I think it's a house-brand by Llumar.

It's recommended by my SA, but I couldn't find any reviews on the reliability of this brand. The tinting is not cheap (around RM1600 after discount and vouchers). At this price range, should I go with the other common branded tinting instead?

Anyone who is using Vessolar could shed some light?

It should be house brand. They dont even have TSER on the specification
With RM1600 can get V-Kool OEM product already

Hi sifus,

I have a  Mazda CX5, wanna check rgd Vkool Elite for FWS only, is it smart tag, Gps and RFID friendly? I was told by my car dealer who quoted me price of 1400 (FWS) that Vkool Elite made by China now has lesser metal inside hence confirmed is smart tag (new) and gps friendly. Is this the case?

As I read many posts on LYN that Vkool Elite blocks a decent amount of heat so I'm seriously considering it for my car FWS (other windows leave as default skytint from Mazda).

Thanks!
*
It is Smart Tag and GPS friendly but not RFID friendly due to the metal inside the film
Also the price you getting is overprice as our selling only RM1100

Nowadays forumer that sell Software/Hardware/Accessories/Car also come and promote TINT BRAND
without any extra knowledge for the brand.

When buyer want to get Premium Tint for the Brand New Car
make sure the salesperson is working/representative for the
particular brand they offered otherwise they are just normal salesperson that trying to intro you to the particular shop and get commission
