Hi All,

Need a recommendation on laptop here...

1) Any brand except for Mac, Dell and hp. (Only 4th gen Intel, no amd)
2) <4k
3) Gaming, movies, songs, possibility of 3D engineering
    software
4) preferably one with 15.6" screen fullhd/ips, good speaker,
    good heatdissipation, ssd(preferbly)
5) not too concern on weight

Currently checking:
1) RE15
2) Lenovo y510p
3) Asus Zenbook or N series ( but might not due to bad after sales support )
4) Acer v7-582pg- 74501225

I am open to other suggestions... Thanks all...

cut down on unnecessary hardwares like SSD, RAM and Windows. a Core i7 upgrade and hefty amount of storage is important for you.

no, N550JV only has a display. i viewed the laptop before, so i can confirm the highest spec doesnt have touch screen, only N550LF has.

Thanks for the info bro. Decided to order from xoticpc. They have the N550JB-DB72T which is a touch screen. Cant find it locally. Only set back is the warranty is only one year.

N550LF spec is slightly lower, so not keen on this model.

Alright, I will keep that in mind. Also, is the v7-582pg-74501225 recommended? The specs seems really good for the price...

Is it possible to arrange the suggestions from highly recommended to least recommended?

Also, which 15.6" laptop have good Display and Sound system?

Thanks and sorry for the questions...

Hi everyone. I'm buying laptop soon before entering uni and would like some recommendation from u all.

1) Any brand will do as long as it's good
2) light gaming
3) won't feel laggy
4) price 3k-3.5k
5) 14.0inch and above
*
I suggestion is MSI GP60, this is a good laptop with 15.6” display and didn’t laggy during play game or work.

Even the top-end RM15-20k gaming monsters cannot guarantee 5 years gaming at max or near max settings man sweat.gif Have to be realistic laugh.gif
If you really want bang for buck, then go for a desktop nod.gif

In terms of bang-for-buck laptop, then its pretty much the Lenovo Y510p, though expect 3 years max in terms of gaming "sustainability"
