QUOTE(eusened @ Mar 3 2014, 11:19 AM) LOL, I totally agree with you about the driving experience on highway. I use the same method. Hose down the car thoroughly before touching it for the wash.My experience was driving to cameron, slow down a bit because of a corner, a forte (was in my consideration before i buy 408t) tail gate me for no reason. I let him pass and show him the power of the Lion, lol. It seems like after 170, the forte coupe is struggling. By the way, about the dust, I usually rinse the car will tons of water before putting the soap. I took this advice from SerialGlow uncle |

QUOTE(mtbk3 @ Mar 4 2014, 09:39 AM) Never knew the aircon is so loud....All my family members and some friends was like...WTF you driving??? ~~LOL....Coz its quite loud the engine sound..... I got the same feedback on day one but the beauty of it here is when you're inside the car, it's barely audible. In the one week I had my car I only noticed the sound less than a handful of times. If I remember correctly, those old Merc E class were the same, perhaps even louder. |

QUOTE(eusened @ Mar 5 2014, 09:18 AM) Write a complain to Peugeot France and also Peugeot Careline. This is real bad. You shouldn't let it sit. Write to Peugeot and at the same time to Kementerian Pengguna as well. This is definitely not acceptable. Trust me, the SCs are all bullshit (my point of view after all the posts). Mine car is yet to be fixed. Part arrived as careline confirmed. Careline request me to wait for the SC to call up for appointment but what? Already 2 weeks, i receive no call. |

Lol!
Over 1 year is just too long. Someone must have messed up locally. I'm having trouble believing Peugeot's service is so bad. Perhaps you should just open a case with the right folks. Even if you don't get any compensation, it'll help put pressure in the right places for future improvement. |

QUOTE(EP6CDTM @ Mar 6 2014, 10:35 AM) To each his own I guess. It's amazing how much people are influenced by forum posts these days. Go to the Vios forum, there are so many problems reported there and I'm the only one I know who's unfortunate enough to experience some of them. Everyone else I know haven't had to repair anything on their Vios. It's your luck at the end of the day. Oh and also how you drive. |

QUOTE(dogymal @ Mar 6 2014, 11:41 AM) Support the brand? Most of us here bought it because we like the car not the brand and it's our choice. If you don't like it that's your choice. No car is perfect. I've had numerous issues with Toyota but does that make it a bad brand? And what returns are you talking about? |

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Mar 13 2014, 01:05 PM) My car feel sluggish during hot weather also. Technically yes. Pratically, don't know, never tested properly....butt dyno only.I tot is mentally problem, really got such thg de ah? Hot weather affect performance? Hot air has lower density, leading to lower overall power output......which in turn leads us to press harder on the accelerator.....resulting in poorer FC. I usually feel my car has more power after heavy rain....and this was with my Vios. No chance to drive the P408 in rain yet. |

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Mar 13 2014, 06:19 PM) Ya, bcoz it is just Peugeot Sport. Not TRD. Depends on price and place of purchase. From Toyota/TRD is more expensive but equivalent of slapping on a turbocharger. Wonder if it'll work on our pugs.Saving money for a TRD badge, it might cost me 10k?! Perhaps... As I saw UMW marketing their Vios, by adding a TRD badge, straight increase 5k selling price from G spec. |

QUOTE(Phang123 @ Mar 14 2014, 12:53 PM) http://www.livelifedrive.com/malaysia/news...ia-headquarters I for one hope this part below is true. After reading the forums, it does appear that Peugeot has improved over the years although it's still got a long way to go.seems like VW having worse after-sales service? lol..... but did peugeot after-sales service getting better? Quote from the article: We would also like to point out that fast growing brands such as Ford and Peugeot also experienced similar customer complaints alluding to the lack of after-sales capacity during their period of growth a number of years back. With a fast growing number of new customers, an unprepared after-sales network would be easily overwhelmed by the higher number of customers looking to send their cars in for routine service. Only in the past few years did Ford and Peugeot managed to turn their situation around after expanding their service network and hiring better trained after-sales personnel to meet the needs of their new customers. |

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Mar 14 2014, 05:21 PM) This is SC price. Probably 30% cheaper at outside, but will loose warranty. No choice but held to ransom by warranty! Ah ok. So it's the same as all other makes. Toyota was the same too. SC quoted me 3k for an alternator without labour charges. I did the whole thing outside for 1.5k. |

QUOTE(mtbk3 @ Mar 14 2014, 05:49 PM) Just to share. I have not received my Privilege Card until now. So i drop an email to CLIC. Surprisingly good respond time though. After about an hour from the time i sent the email, i got a call from Peugeot informing me that my card is in the process and i will receive it in 2 weeks time. Hey me too. 3 weeks now. I called the hotline and was told it'll take up to 6 weeks from date of purchase for me to receive the card. |
